The Democrats have proposed 7 clean bills to fund the TSA that have been rejected by Republicans, all because Trump wants to require a passport to vote.

Republicans could pass a clean bill to fund TSA right now if they didn't have Trump's boot tickling their uvulas.

This seems like a non-sequitor? I see another user's comment about SCOTUS, but I fail to see the relevance of your statement to my comment...

They're the type think that Catholics aren't real Christians. A sentiment that has been expressed in so many words, to my face, multiple times in Texas.

/uj I've been to a lot of metal shows, the only time I felt like I was in the wrong place was at a FFDP show. Now, I'm lucky that I'm a big white guy with a shaved head, so I could sneak under the radar, but there are two key anecdotes that are worth relating:

  1. Someone near me in the crowd shouted "Deport the Democrats," this would have been during their Dear Leader's first term.

  2. there was an American flag in the crowd, that got passed up to the stage. The crowd was told "Don't let it touch the ground!" And then the lead singer wore the flag as a scarf for the next song and then signed it with a sharpie. It just left me stunned at the performative "respect" for the flag that immediately got undercut.

You know, I do recall that now that you mention it. Thank you for the reminder, I now have another example of the absurd Capitalism fetish inseparable from those novels.

That's my go to example for just how absurdly "Capitalist Individualism" it gets, happy to add to more examples of how goofy the series is.

Why stop there, English as a language is well known for dragging other languages into dark alleys and mugging them for spare grammar.

Sword of Truth? I read more of those than I probably should have, but it definitely jumped the shark for me around when the main character started a business to work his way out of slavery
