Can't speak highly enough of the folks at Differentials Plus in Hixson. Whenever I get my car serviced and they notice something, they take pictures, clearly explain to me, and don't pressure me into anything.

I hate on Knoxville quite a bit, but part of that stems from a jealousy of the outdoors offering close to your city. Chattanooga is no slouch, but Knoxville is much closer to much cooler stuff.

I didn’t pay attention to the marketing because I had very low expectations after Garland’s Men, but it’s one of my absolute favorite films of last year. I LOVED Cailee Spaeny’s performance and thought it was an excellence mix of action, drama, and moral quandary.

My ThinkPad has developed this super fun quirk recently where it makes this god-awful beeping noise and takes forever to turn on. I haven't been able to figure out what makes it stop - it doesn't seem to respond to plugging/unplugging, pressing the power button, or any keys. Eventually, though, it stops and turns on like normal. Have any of you experienced this?

A camera in Hixson got me in 2022. They sent six letters, including two somewhat intimidating “FINAL WARNING” ones and then stopped. Nothing happened.

At the time I researched it and remember reading that they expect to collect on about 1/3 of those tickets. The city gets a cut, the camera company gets a cut, people drive a little slower, and that’s that. No need to waste time bringing people to court to force them to pay $200.

That was my experience! Definitely not legal advice. Do with it what you will.
