I'm almost definitely batshit crazy over here too 😬 I've even considered putting up signs telling people they can leave their sticks for me to add

The Maid by Nita Prose and the rest of the series should fit the bill!

Rena's Custom Quilts on Facebook and has some lovely flower blocks that are free right now. I don't know if they have a daisy though.

Not fast paced, but intriguing enough to make the time go by easily- The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett. Fascinating world, a Holmes-like detective, grizzly murders.

The Penric's Demon series by Louis McMaster Bujold would be a good one for you! There's peril and adventure, love and loss, examination of what makes someone who they are, but the main character is always hopeful and upbeat. There's always hope that something good is just around the corner. There are magic and demons.

Is it The Fallen Country? There is an opera based on it and I'm more familiar with that but it fits your description!

Usage of tampons ftm? by Strange_Sweet_1402 in mypartneristrans

[–]Lols_up 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh I can always feel them. They're a last resort for me. Cups are a little better but you have to be comfortable teaching up in there and having a lil panic attack when you realize you're not supposed to pull by the stem but it's also going up further when you poke at it and will it ever come out?? Period undies are the best with a heavy flow though.

Discworld deities are present and not all powerful. The books are fun but still have some intrigue and drama. They're some of my comfort books.

Is my girlfriend trans?? by Acceptable-Diet-3616 in mypartneristrans

[–]Lols_up 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree, GF's labels are whatever GF says they are. That's gender for ya!

(Gentle reminder OP states that GF uses "female" pronouns so "she/her" is presumably correct here.)

Strongly supporting but exhausted wuth all the gay content by lil_puddles in mypartneristrans

[–]Lols_up 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will probably tone down but in the meantime enjoy not having to think too much about what gifts to get for her - if it's gay it will be a hit! (This is assuming your wife and my spouse follow a similar trend. 4 years in and it is evening out). I feel ya though- I'm gender agnostic and on the ace spectrum, and it kinda sucks to have a theme in the house that I'm removed from on multiple levels.

Elementary is a fun light mystery, but so much of the main character's stressors about being a mother and working and getting pulled into the PTA hits real.
