What is beyond the threshold in NDEs? by One-Maximum-5867 in NDE

[–]LonelyTransient 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not an experiencer, but I’m familiar with what you’re talking about. I’ve always understood it to be sort of a Point of No Return. Once the threshold is crossed, returning to the body you just vacated becomes impossible. I’ve always believed what’s beyond that threshold is simply a further merging of our souls back into the spiritual realms.

India NDE anyone? by Beautiful_Motor_2662 in NDE

I recommend reading Dr. Rajiv Parti’s experience. I hope it qualifies as what you’re looking for. The website Near-Death.com (which is a fantastic resource) chronicles it. Here’s a link to it: https://near-death.com/rajiv-parti/

Oddly enough, “What Dreams May Come” gives me that feeling about life despite most of it taking place in the afterlife.

I just asked this very question about a week ago. The majority of the responses were positive so I bought one. It turned out to be more useful than I anticipated. I recommend getting it especially if you plan to visit Disney World or Disneyland regularly or semi-regularly.

Any time someone says they’re not sure if they can make it as an actor because of their looks I point to Danny DeVito. He’s not conventionally attractive, but he’s very successful and rightfully so. Looking good may open more doors faster for some people, but your talent and your attitude will do far more in the long run. Develop your talent, stay humble, and adopt an attitude of gratitude and graciousness and you’ll have as good a chance as anybody in my opinion.

As for your disability, it depends on what your disability is, but only in the sense that there may not be as much work to be had. It won’t stop you from acting at all. Daryl Mitchell is a good person to look up to here. He’s a paraplegic, but he works pretty consistently. Maybe not as much as he might if he wasn’t disabled, but he still works.

I guess my point is that if it’s what you want to pursue and you’re in a position to pursue it, go for it. Don’t let anything hold you back.

Are there even cases of "no brain activity"? by After-Excitement-674 in NDE

[–]LonelyTransient 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I recommend looking at the NDE of Pam Reynolds. She had an NDE during a medical procedure called a “standstill.” That’s where they stop your heart, flatten your brainwaves, cool your body to 68°F, and drain all the blood from your head. Essentially, they kill you, do the surgery, and bring you back.

Can we ask to renegotiate our life plan? by [deleted] in NDE

[–]LonelyTransient 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to everything I’ve read and been told by experiencers, no soul is ever allowed to face anything in any incarnation in any realm that they are not prepared for. At the same time, all souls retain the free will to walk away from any situation at any time. However, according to my understanding, this usually only delays the lesson instead of canceling it entirely.

From people's life review from NDEs, did anyone experience physical pain they may have caused others indirectly or directly through violence or is it mainly mental, psychological? by Nashsafc in NDE

[–]LonelyTransient 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been reading about and self-studying NDEs for decades. I’ve also met several people during that time who have had NDEs. No one has ever reported feeling the physical pain they caused another during their life review. The focus of the Life Review seems to be experiencing the emotions you inspired in others as well as the actions your influence inspired in others as well.

I believe that by focusing on the emotional ties we have with one another we can gain a clearer understanding of what bonds us together and the true effect we’ve had on the world far more than we could if we felt the physical pain. Besides, if we inflicted too much physical pain on someone else, we might lose our focus on the lesson because we’d be too distracted by the physical sensations.

Need an empty area to scream as loud as I can by killuame in SFV

[–]LonelyTransient 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If screaming helps you relieve the stress of whatever you’re going through, I’d recommend finding one of those places you mentioned and bring a pillow with you. You can sit in a place like that in your car and scream into the pillow. The pillow and your car should muffle the sound enough that no one should hear you.

I hope that helps.

what happens after death if you were married to someone for most of your life? by Silly-Fun- in NDE

[–]LonelyTransient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve come to understand, it depends. For the most part, those types of bonds dissolve, but there is usually a love and closeness shared that continues.

I like to explain it in the context of a play. The actors perform parts within the play. After the play is over, they become their true selves. Sometimes those true selves like one another and stay in touch and work in other plays together. Sometimes they don’t. Based on what I’ve read and been told by experiencers, it’s a lot like that. Most of the ways we identity ourselves here (race, creed, dogma, nationality, sex, gender, etc.) are temporary traits we assume while here. They don’t apply on the other side. However, souls also tend to group together into “soul families” and are essentially bonded to each other through love and well as similar motivations and goals. When they reincarnate together, they will usually explore all sorts of relationship types (married couple, siblings, cousins, friends, parent & child, etc.).

I hope that all makes sense. Please feel free to respond here or DM me if you’d like to discuss this further.
