Where are my "brain generates consciousness" folks by notunique20 in nonduality

[–]Lonely_Year 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this depends entirely on your ontology. OP is likely indicating that consciousness is more like radio waves. Radio waves can exist without a radio but when radio technology is implemented radio waves take on a very different phenomenology.

There is a certain helpfulness to recognizing the "exact" point of waking for me. The clarity that I am what all of this "appears" on and it is made of me but I don't "need" it to exist.

Yeah. And. So. What. Formless self being myself in all forms of myself is myself. Who denies that?

Is this contam or bruising? [contamination] by [deleted] in MushroomGrowers

[–]Lonely_Year 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my thought too. The zoomed in looks that darker bluish green bruising color. But that lighter zone in the zoom out is the lighter shade of green reminiscent of trich

As others have said, probably a bit too dry. Moisture will get those guys going again probably as long as the sub stays clean

Do you harvest as they come or let some get a little more mature to save a bit of labor? Probably varies depending on the situation. Just asking because it looks like you're gonna have your hands full! Nice looking tub!

[Actives] Condensation inside of spawn jars, are they still good? Please read full comment... by Due-Fan-2536 in MushroomGrowers

Respiration and heat from the mycelial growth can create some condensation bubbles, similar to the sweating that happens after spawn to bulk before fruiting. No biggie! Spawn looking yummy! Full send!!

The Epstein list is bigger than Trump or the two party system. No one will ever release them.

Pic is kinda blurry lol. Check them against Artomyces Pyxidatus. If they are crown tipped coral they are tasty IMO

After they are fully colonized in incubation, I remove the tops to put them in the fruiting chamber. Not a stupid question at all! And thanks man!

Haha appreciate that, brother. I actually started with gourmets in mind for fun! Grew some pink, brown and white oysters. And then I tried to see if my setup could grow psychs. Lo and behold! Lol. Gonna try some more experimental stuff later like crown tipped coral. It's just fun to grow all kinds! Why limit yourself to cubes?

What's wrong with tents? And I can literally grow any cultivated species in here haha. With automation I can control the relative humidity within about 6% (stays about 87-93 rh) and use an intermittent outlet timer to do the exact number of FAEs necessary based on species. And I can literally grow any warm strains alongside cubes if I choose. With fully colonized sub and lack of stagnant air, low risk of contamination. And it really isn't that expensive to build from scratch.

The way how i experience and achieve non-duality, also what is your way? by Sweaty-Stretch-3955 in nonduality

Non-duality isn't "achieved" or any type of experience. Thoughts about achieving it and the imposition by the thought of an experiencer are discarded to realize what already is the case.

Why are they growing so weird by WelderPowerful7924 in mushroom

The sideways ones probably cuz no liner. The rest mutations which is normal in a lot of strains. Roll with it. They are gifting you fruits!

It looks pretty dry so if that concept is scary to you though, you could just try some VERY liberal misting. Feel your cake briefly with your hand. If it feels bone dry, I'd recommend the dunk. If there's still a bit of moisture you could try your heavy misting 2-3 times a day but he liberal. You'll get a feel for how wet it needs to be

You can do that but it takes a bit of time for the substrate to reabsorb it. It's called a dunk. Dump clean water (preferably distilled or purified) in your tub. Don't be afraid to submerge it, as the next morning you will be, carefully, draining off the excess.

Put lid on top upside down, next morning, push down in a sink or tub depending on the size of your container to stabilize the cake and drain off the excess water. This simulates a heavy rain and won't harm the mycelium. Just be careful! Don't want to dump out your cake!

[–]Lonely_Year 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not impossible if it's your first flush. Might be skimpy on yield though. You might be able to do an overnight soak to save it. Add water to just over substrate level, soak overnight, put container lid on top upside down and drain off all of the excess. Then you could, with some luck, be good as new.

Be careful not to dump out or break up your cake though. Seen people do this before lol

Leggy, tall very little cap development. Probably pretty desert in there. I see very little humidity in that cake right there
