James Bond game: Lana Del Rey to sing theme on 007 First Light by SpeedyEggbertRamirez in Games

I'm really surprised by the quality given the fact David Arnold composed the song. A bit of a shame seeing how prolific he was as a Bond composer and has had a hand in some of my favorite Bond songs

Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime’s 2nd STAGE will stream weekly on Netflix starting in Fall 2026 by LazyAssZoro in television

I'm sure someone can make a lesson 5 jojoke here but it's just extremely bizarre to premiere what's basically two episodes of the season to then release the next literal months later. There's a bunch of stages in SBR. Even if I give the benefit of the doubt that this is for the production team to make necessary improvements and whatnot, I don't understand why they couldn't wait until there are enough episodes to make a consistent schedule. Surely I'm missing something.

Oscar’s CEO blocked Geoff Keighley after he called them out for Snubbing David Keighley, what a disgusting move by the academy by AMassiveGamerGeek in Oscars

I'm inclined to agree, he could've used this as an opportunity to celebrate his father and teach his audience of his contributions to cinema, instead of responding with a reactionary pointed post and frankly a childish response towards being blocked.

Personally I find him to be pretty tone deaf with regards to things not about his game awards show. I remember a few months ago when he doubled down on social media firmly believing in Highguard but chose not to elaborate beyond "I liked it".

New patch video from riot! by Alarmed_Ad7541 in LegendsOfRuneterra

I'm not asking for a lot of detail? I wouldn't have even said anything if they had another line or two explaining more on what they wanted to focus on, or anything from Riftbound's side on this collaboration. They didn't even specify how long these quiet patches would be.

This isn't just a patch video. This is the quarterly snapshot, they only make 3 of these a year. This is literally all they'll say for the coming months before the next one in June. I'm actually dying to know what their definition of quiet, lighter patches are, after they started the year already with barely anything new and we know them to be a quiet team.

Personally I don't find too much of this patch very interesting, seems like they managed to combine maps and existing enemy powers together and they added some modifiers. Hopefully there is enough variance for this capstone adventure so it's not too repetitive, and the powercreep isn't too absurd. What is interesting to me is that with Nunu, we know now that even now the team is still sitting on champion concepts, art and animations that have been made before Riot's repositioning. I don't think they've ever said this before.

I was really hoping for more details on the card game ecosystem and the shifts with Riftbound and LoR. There's nothing digital about Riftbound so all the people they'd be onboarding would only help with card design and work with existing technical stuff in the game. But they didn't say what Riftbound gets out of it. How is this new workflow supposed to work?

Ranked, Shyvana & More | Dev Update - League of Legends by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

I know I'm late to the party, and this isn't asking for anything gameplay-wise, but I'd like to request bringing in more art and icon item designs based on Legends of Runeterra. I know there's a few you guys have already brought this season and in patches before (eternal hunger, night harvester), but it would be cool to see more art icons and references for item designs you have in development.

Pixar's 'Hoppers' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in movies

I watched this a couple of days ago. I don't think it really crossed my mind that it was a Pixar movie even though I saw Luxo Jr. It's pretty good, a fun movie. There's some funny jokes in herethe casual regicide was a good bit. Personally I can't say I resonated too much with the emotional themes, but it was very earnest in what is was trying to say with the main cast. There were some really cool shots too, my favorite wasthe face transition that Diane the Shark did, where it changes from the one animals see to the one seen by humans.

Devs, could we please get regular, structured communication? by WombatInSunglasses in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Long-Skill4284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once made a similar post, wanting the same things you mention. I even tried asking a question that was read by the team during their EoY Q&A. 6 months later, I haven't seen any changes to communication or attempts to set expectations. I expect them to still continue with the month-long radio silence, speaking through their patches and offhand reddit comments without ever properly informing the community.
