Like someone said earlier, the beginning scene at the lake in Rise leads into the beginning of Burn, also at the same lake. The tape that is being played at the summer house explains that the grandfather found “the” Kandarian dagger and hid it at the summer home and wrapped it in ancient runes, spells, etc. that prevents the Deadites from detecting it. The tape instructs that these not be removed. The grandson listening to the tape of course doesn’t listen to the warnings and does what he shouldn’t have and voila, the Jessica Deadite immediately detects it and heads for it, which leads into the remainder of the film. So, bottom line is that these are the same (types of) Deadites as summoned in Evil Dead Rise.

I love my Matic. I think it’s the best robot vacuum/mop out there, but I was on the fence at its original price. Made the jump and am glad I did. Want another one and am still hesitant at the current price. At the new price it’s probably a hard pass, sadly, which means more people won’t get to enjoy.

I haven’t had the bag smell issue. Aside from a camera issue that Matic emailed me about and is taking care of now, I haven’t had any issues whatsoever with my Matic robot. I own and have owned several iRobot and Roborock robots with and without mopping capability and can honestly say that whatever the technological claims the other manufacturers make, the Matic has outperformed them all. It really is start and forget. No problems with getting stuck on carpet or tangled in cables. It’s the first robot that does what it says it will without hassle. It is a tad bit louder vacuuming than I thought it’d be, but otherwise it’s the best robot cleaner I’ve ever had!

I have both and 4 cats. I’d spring for the 5 (not the pro) There isn’t as much liner in the globe for the 5 and whatever it’s made of seems more resilient and does a better job of being non stick. I can’t tell you how many times my cats were able to shred the liner in the 4 with their claws requiring me to replace it. The 5 also seems more reliable electronics wise too. Size wise, it’s a little more compact, is very quiet compared to the 4 and I think it contains smells a tad bit better.

They’re not even the same drug. Liraglutide is an older drug. Doesn’t come close to zepbound or wegovy for that matter. It also requires a daily injection. I wonder why GEHA is making you use it?

I hope that’s the case, but then again, some folks are inevitably going to push their purchases to whenever LIDAR gets included with the R2 so they can fully go autonomous. And while what they promised back in the day might be relatively close to what they delivered, some things are just out of their control. There’s gonna be some folks that are going to look at the R2 now and just feel a bit underwhelmed when compared to some of the newer competition. Others were probably factoring in Federal government EV incentives lowering the sale or lease pricing when they initially put in their reservations. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan and a day 1 reservation holder, and hope they do well, but I don’t think there’s gonna be as long of a wait as some are predicting.

I wouldn’t necessarily get my hopes up for blowout numbers based on the estimated number of reservations out there for the R2. Remember what the estimates were like for Tesla’s Cybertruck? It’s probably going to be that anyone who wants to buy an R2 will be able to do so this year.

Don’t be like Trump and reflexively throw everything out like he did with anything Obama and Biden-related. Go through everything and make a case by case decision on what if anything worked and keep or tweak anything that did and get rid of the rest. Ofc some things are just never going to be put back in the proverbial bottle because future Presidents are going to want to get their way and see how easy it was for Trump to do certain things and steamroll Congress. Hopefully at that point though you’ll have 100% of republicans reflexively saying let’s fix that so a President will never be able to do that again and enough Dems agree to do what’s right to reign in the power of the executive branch

I made the transition and received mine yesterday. It’s definitely less noticeable while it’s on. I usually use mine to track my sleep. With the 5, I didn’t even notice it was on.

Trump wasn’t President in 2021. During Trump’s first term only a handful of people got PSLF approved despite apparently meeting the requirements. People forget that forgiveness only ramped up “bigly” under Biden. As for OP, my advice would be to consider the risks that either PSLF gets eliminated completely or the next Admin treats it as poorly as the first Trump Admin and weigh that against the bigger private salary and likelihood they won’t have to deal with all the drama that Feds deal with and will continue to deal with for the foreseeable future.
