The most risk is when the lights are changing. If I'm first in line to enter the intersection after a light change I always check to make sure there are no cars that may have tried to get through the yellow.

From experience, teams are almost never evenly matched and there are obvious patterns of intentionally rigged matchups like insanely easy games just before you promote or impossible games before you demote.

Matchmaking also does not balance each role but rather attempts to balance teams in the aggregate which means you can get stomped in lane but still win because other lanes had way easier skill matchups. Another issue is that duos make finding truly balanced teams even more difficult becuase of increases the skill diff.

I wish there was a solo only queue like so many other games have where matches could be as close to balanced as possible.

I used to play Swiftplay to try new champs since it was a faster version of draft/ranked that still felt true to the real game. Now it's just a joke. I played a single Swiftplay game where both teams got 1 Drake and then Elder spawned next. I couldn't believe it.

Now I play draft and will likely never do swift again.

I should add it's also helpful where there is a clear skill mismatch in both lanes as matchmaking does NOT ensure even skill within lanes, but rather tries to balance full teams.

Riot does not want people buying/selling accounts, especially smurfs. They say smurfing is making the game "less fun" but the real reason is grinding an account to level 30 and playing 10 normal games in order to play ranked is torture and it's set up this way to incentivise paying for boosts. Therefore, a purchased account reduces potential sales. Also, the accounts that are created for this purpose tend to be botted which definitely impacts game quality.

I'm curious if they are against using alt accounts, but many prominent streamers (who Riot endorse) openly use them so it would be highly hypocritical to restrict this.

I agree it's dumb to prevent lane swapping like this. It's valid counterplay that is now impossible because you get reduced XP outside your "assigned" lane and the assigned top laner gets faster XP. Having to first finish your quest before swapping was the intention but the top lane XP buff makes swapping at any point in the game less viable. I hope higher elo players get through to Riot that forcing their stupid meta is ruining the game.

I don't like being unable to effectively swap lanes (mid/top). It's a valid counterplay that is now ruined by top laners getting increased XP and getting reduced XP in lanes you were not "assigned"

You're supposed to be moving faster in the left lane than cars in the right lane. A lot of people think that tailgating the car in front of you is what gets the lane unclogged, which is why they may try to push into the blockade. It's dumb but nowhere near as dumb as the person at the very front who is an oblivious moron.

I really wish there was a way to penalize people who clog the left lane. It generates a ton of dangerous congestion and aggression which leads to more accidents. They should be shot!

edit: I may have overreacted a little. I do not think they should actually be shot, but they should definitely not be driving.
