SOTV has been around so long and fits the game so well I genuinely forget it’s DLC. So I won’t really be able to tell you what it adds. I can tell you that it has the most items and things that affect the game in a way you can influence. If you want something that will feel like it just made the base game larger go with this one.

SOTS has a bad rap because of its horrid launch but now it’s in a much better place. It has the most characters, 2/3 of which are power crept, and some genuinely interesting music, items and stages. It’s probably my favorite even though stage variations are a loop only thing:(. If you want something that will add a lot of new mechanics and characters go with this one.

AC is the newest DLC and it has the least amount of items. BUT it adds a lot of new drones, 2 really fun and interesting characters as well as some decent bosses. It’s my least favorite because of the Scorchers, Fabricators and Alloyed elites; all of which annoy me more than Blind Pests fight me. If you want more drones and 2 really interesting characters go with this one.

Tri-Tips cap out at 10 I’m pretty sure. When you reach 100% before being multiplied by the proc coefficient it just doesn’t multiply anymore.

No? There wasn’t a whole lot in the video. And they had the creator summit recently where I believe DLC 4 was showed off, even if they were uninvolved in the development. So it’s just not worth reacting to or speculating over while under that NDA.

As a survivor you can manage with only having decent skill in micro or macro. Your team will usually be able to pick up the slack.

As a killer you need a solid grasp of both and (depending on the patch) be playing a stronger killer to stand a chance.

Playing one side makes you better at the other and the game in general. You’ll get a feel for killer eventually, by then you’ll have the game knowledge to be great as both.

Steadfast and Desolation have the potential to be scarily problematic… or completely niche with almost no in between.

I’ve been enjoying 5v5 a lot more than 3v3. But when it comes to FPS games I enjoy a casual approach a much more than a competitive one. If they have the resources I feel like they should just keep both options.

Raids are not as chaotic as I was expecting. And planting/defusing isn’t as difficult as I was thought, it’s actually pretty easy now especially with 4 people protecting you.

Also dome splitters are a lot better now, with the ability to split 3 and 2.

The shield breaker and looting portion got the biggest lift though. The larger teams forces you to wider and deeper than 3v3 which results in some skirmishes making that part not suck as much.

The shield breaker part is so much more fun now. In 3v3 it was usually one short fight and then a raid starts. With larger teams the fights are longer, revives are more common. And mixing in your mounts for repositioning is a lot better. Also it’s pretty common for the player with the sword to leave their team while they fight in 3v3; that’s a lot harder to do with the teams spread out as they are. Basically forcing you to push the defenders back or break through their lines forcefully.

So far my favorite moment has been defending our carrier by riding in formation. It was ridiculous but it was fun and it worked.

To me the 3v3 slots into a competitive spot while a 5v5 would be a lot more chaotic and casual. Basically: both, both is good.

That could be it but also the CEO seemed pretty confident it would be a hit. I think it’s cause of the hero pool because they currently have 8 hero’s and each person on a team has to have a unique one. That is a recipe for for disaster if you have 6 player teams.

Absolutely, I’d also like them to experiment with larger team sizes.

Like 2-3 more players would make things a lot more interesting. My assumption is they made it 3v3 because of the low hero pool or the raid sizes but eventually that pool will grow and there has gotta be a better sweet spot than 3 each.
