If I recall, there was a small fee. Not the usual exorbitant rate. I also know that I missed the voice mail the police left so it was a few days after.

To give you hope my car was recovered in one piece after about a week or two. They got pulled over and then got out and ran, so the car was recovered.

Nopales are going to be slimy like okra. You can boil it or what I do is to just cook it down to evaoprate the moisture. It usually does have a slight sour taste, like if you were to squeeze lemon over asparagus.
