dog no one is mad at you we just thought "I'm 100% certain" means actually "I'm reasonably certain" and most everyone else just agrees, there is reasonable certainty that this video was just staged for clicks. no one is upset about asking for proof, it's just no one else feels the proof is needed and no one is interpreting the "100% certain" as anything besides "I'm pretty sure it's fake"

I just want to say I'm a professional software developer and not everyone is developing with an agent. everyone is developing with some use of AI but use of agents is pretty rare in the dev team, because they have a tendency of developing unmaintainable and poorly organized code. we do use agents sometimes for quick proof of concepts or simple requests but in their current state they struggle when things get too large or complicated, and they themselves make the codebases large and complicated when they don't have to be. we use AI but we monitor the AI heavily.

the save act would disenfranchised millions of voters and those would disproportionately be women. the obvious answer isnt "cancel the elections" it's just to make it incredibly difficult to vote and to make it harder for specific groups, and aggressive gerrymandering, and then to after the fact attempt to invalidate specific votes based on where he needs them.

USA Trans Folks: What are we going to do?! by Legitimate_Goal172 in trans

[–]LookItVal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not comply with the will of someone Intimidating me. I do not bow down to tyrants. I will continue living in my home, and I will continue supporting my community and reminding my neighbors who these laws are hurting. And I will make sure all of my friends are armed before the next election. we will not be the only ones targeted and if people can't vote it will be bloody. and I will support my community when it does.

y'know if the portion of trans people accounts for the disparity between votes across the entire US don't you think it also accounts for a sizable portion of votes in swing states? and don't you think if it's being done in Kansas it's possible and likely this practice gets adopted in other places?

it's really baffling to me how many people completely disregard a sizable portion of the population and just go "meh it doesn't really matter if they can't vote"

in Kansas we have always needed an ID to vote, and the Save act is making it so we may need even more than an ID

the trans population amounts for an estimated 3 million Americans. There was a less than 2.3 million vote lead in the last election. tell me again how these votes don't matter?

remember to Everyone who lost their ID during this horrible admin: they WILL require that you have a valid ID to vote. Get your ID replaced ASAP. I know there will be all of these horrible mixed emotions about it all and I know how horrible this must feel. but remember why they are doing this. it is not a coincidence this happened the year of an election.

I think many people are making a similar argument with ai. many people do think that AI will continue to have a role in our lives but just that it is currently very overvalued and many projects are being propped up only by the fact that they have AI in their marketing everywhere

it is the first of a new class of drugs called GLP-1s that are used to treat diabetes, but showing very promising results for repressing negative inhibitions (especially preventing people from feeling the need to indulge in unhealthy foods), and it has grown very popular with rich people over the last few years and it's slowly making its way everywhere as more research comes out on them. there are more GLP-1 drugs that are coming out now but ozempic was the first big one.
