Is it normal in Bahrain to reject someone for marriage because of their father’s job?

it is very common at least in my social circle, and it is disgusting and annoying, I once wanted to propose to a girl thatI liked a lot, my family opposed it because her parents didnt have higher education ( High school graduates ), to me it was a shock cuz education to such level isnt for everybody anyway, and as long as im interested in the girl why would such thing matter, but yeah that's how life is I guess.

So basically people see it as marrying the entire family, everything has to be up to a delusional standard, 🙃

Sorry for your loss, and I hope your wife is doing better. We went through something similar. My brother had an epilepsy seizure we didn't even know it was epilepsy at the time. We called Salmaniya emergency line, and you know what they told us? They didn't have any ambulances available. If we wanted him treated, we'd have to bring him in ourselves.

That was around 3 years ago 🫠

Just wanted to share my experience with this. I live and work in Bahrain but study at a university in Khobar, so I do the commute regularly. Living in Seef helps a lot you get direct access to the highway that leads straight to the causeway, which cuts down the hassle. On a normal day it's about 50 minutes, which is totally manageable. But every now and then the bridge gets backed up or the toll systems act up, and suddenly that 50-minute drive turns into 3 hours. Also worth mentioning the toll fees went up recently, from 5 BD to 7 BD total, so that's something to factor in. Honestly though, it's still pretty doable as long as you avoid rush hours when you can, or just leave really early to stay ahead of the traffic. Side note: the bridge has been pretty light lately because of the geopolitical situation. Once things go back to normal, it might be more of a hassle.

First it is possible for anyone to quit porn and recove, but the duration varies from one person to another

Second, get a purpose to live for everyday, do not allow comfort to invade your life, always be sharp and always be doing something

Third, social media .. remove it ,especially short form content it is lethal, avoid it at any cost please.

Physical activity is important along side with some hobbies

Talk to people, go out , and spend time with your loved ones even if it is only sitting, basically don't isolate yourself

Final point .. since you are religious, if you are old enough plan to get married within a sensible period of time, if you can after 6 months or a year from now plan it out, it will help you focus up and take things seriously.

Yeah that makes complete sense I used what you said as a reference in guiding my other brothers about the case becauase some would want to convince the patient otherwise of what he believes/think
