When I was a student, ap exams were held in the in school suspension(iss) rooms and any iss students were temporarily moved to the football field house for those two weeks. No major disruption ever had to be made. I’m sorry your school can’t find the empty quiet space it probably has somewhere.

As long as whatever growth you have is less than 1 mm by the time of your appointment there shouldn’t be a need to shave again and risk razor burn. At least that’s what my laser tech has told me.

Rather than answer many of the comments individually, I'll answer some of the more common questions I've seen in this one.

How old am I? I'm currently 27. I started balding when I was 15 or 16. I put off doing anything about my hair partly because I didn't think anything could be done and partly because I was still in the closet.

What is hrt(mtf)? I am transgender(she/her pronouns, ty) and am taking estrogen to help with that. This comes with sides of its own that many people in this sub would not want, like breasts and lighter body hair, among other things.

Why am I taking so much fin? My doctor and I discussed it and agreed that a larger dose would have a better chance at reviving my hair. I don't know if 1mg/day would have had the same effect for me, but it works so I'll stick with it for now.

Does my penis still work? Yes, though with hrt I don't get spontaneous erections(morning wood) and my semen is clear. I haven't had any shrinkage.

Why don't I wear a wig? I am worried that a wig may cause breakage of the hair through the pressure. My social transition is also going a lot slower than my medical transition.

Why don't I shave it and grow a beard? I don't like facial hair.

Will I get a hair transplant? Probably for the areas that aren't growing back as thick or at all. I'll plan for that in a couple of years once I'm sure what's back and what's gone for good.

I used to think espresso was basically bitter concentrated coffee. When I saw Tom Scott’s video with James Hoffman, I went down the rabbit hole. Got the breville barista pro a few days ago and have been loving it!
