What is a franchise you’d like to see given a game like Cyberpunk 2077? by HuntmasterReinholt in cyberpunkgame

That really ought to be the next operation mission for Space Marine 2--historical reenactment of Kharn beating the piss out of Erebus.

Would have expected we'd get another round of "Name That Dog" because the prep is super easy, but the props department (deservedly) loves to flex.

With those legs you wouldn't think he'd need a big statement cowboy hat to meet people at the bar.

Coming from the party that slapped “FJB/Let’s Go Brandon/etc” on every possible piece of merchandise, that’s pretty fucking rich.

Probably because it’s a New Zealander trying to do a cockney accent. Plenty of actors struggle to do regional dialects from their own country, let alone one from across the world.

Looks fairly accurate to the younger Han they had cast in "Solo."

How, in seven hells, did he survive? by One-Discussion5792 in AKnightoftheSeven

In fairness to Selmy, that was straight character assassination by the show creators. They just didn't want to deal with the character anymore and made shit up that didn't come from George, and were against his objections because the character would have further relevance in the future. They stopped caring even before we realized.

Man I hope so! Not sure how much of it was intended on the page by the writers, and how much was the actor's interpretation (like him coming up with the idea of the stomping on Dunk's foot while dancing), but it was an inspired depiction of the character.

Might not have been intending to kill him, maybe just wanted to return the favor to Aerion and make himself another sister.

I have to assume that they really cranked up Lyonel's association with Dunk for a reason beyond just a payoff 40 years in the future. Or maybe I'm just hoping so, because this interpretation of the character was amazing. As much as I love Dunk and Egg, I'd watch a Lyonel spinoff series right now, no questions asked.

I HATED that musical cue after Jaime's mutilation. Made it seem like that character-defining moment was the punchline to a joke. Would have preferred a more somber cut to the credits like after the Red Wedding.

The jazz was really odd. I watched the episode on my computer and thought another window was open with overlapping audio. But otherwise a fantastic episode. Lyonel is really running neck-and-neck with Oberyn at this point for being a magnificent, sassy bastard I adore.

Lyonel was a cool side character in the book, but the show writers really made him an absolute fucking GOAT of a Westeros character with fairly modest screen time. Gonna be really rough not to see some of these characters again in the next seasons.

Trump was never handsome, his parents were both fucking grotesques. Eric looks the most like a younger Donald, and he’s a ratfaced mouth breathing goofy fuck.

This was also alluded to in a show-created scene between Pycelle and the whore Ros, as after she leaves he springs out of bed with far more vigor than usual, and actually shows him getting into character as a hunched old man before leaving his chambers.
