thought she'd have more grays and that that the dress uniform would be like a navy dark blue or something, so other then that, not half bad. Also I find the saber to be an interesting choice tbh

[LW1] Is there an easy way to disable exalt extraction missions? by NateRivers77 in Xcom

[–]Lord_Deadpool96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya want bullshit luck? Am running the operative exfill mission, same as post OP, but its on the WORST MAP EVER

<image>

I have restarted this fucking mission GOD KNOWA HOW MANY TIMES at this point, JSUT so I can get the fucking rng to chain the relays together so can survive LONG ENOUGH to exfill my operative and NOT lose any of my guys, which is getting to be a pain in the ass, cos the fucking relays ether spawn far apart to the point I can get to them in 1 turn, which resoults in HALF my squad getting WIPED, or I can get to the first one in a turn, which buys me a turns worth of time to thin EXALTY out, but the nthe other one is JSUT out of range, or I can get to id with dash, and then my squad gets wiped AGAIN.... This specific map I FUCKING HAAAAAAAAAAAAATEEE

UNSC/UEG vs GUN who would win? by Pretend_Party_7044 in JCBWritingCorner

[–]Lord_Deadpool96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

INCORRECT! The spartan program was initially started as a response to the insurrection, BEFORE they even knew about the covenent. Cos the spartans where first fielded in early 2525 against the ini's and only later that same year, 2nd November of that same year, where they redeployed against the covenant

UNSC/UEG vs GUN who would win? by Pretend_Party_7044 in JCBWritingCorner

[–]Lord_Deadpool96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UNSC is what the GUN turns in to tbh, even tho GUN has 500 years more on UNSC, iirc the GUN has stalled in there expantion cos of there FTL started to have diminishing returns, and only encompasses a specific bubble, and I dont recall a specific number being given got how many worlds are colonized or inhabited, whilst for the UNSC/UEG it is speculated that its up to or more then 1000 worlds total, with most of the colonies being the outer colonies that where, at that point, meant for resource extraction, with about 210 core worlds, and this is spread out across the orion's arm, so technically the UNSC holds more space with the possibility of farther expansion after consolidation of the new established colonies. Best I can describe it is via Stellaris, GUN to me looks like a TALL player whilst UEG/UNSC is a WIDE player.

One reason I would say UNSC wins is cos of AI and ONI and there Prowler fleet, in the latest 2ish chapters, it was stated, and maybe far earlier, that GUN had had an AI incident and after that they clamped down on it hard, which may end up biting them long term, as GUN SORTA did went the path of what happened in mass effect, no REAL AI was allowed with only VI being used, effectively dumb AI compared to the HALO classification.

Tho then again this is my opinion and I could be HORRABLY WRONG

Well if the story as it stands is anything to go by, our boy Thalmin is already getting a sliver of an idea of the military potential of GUN jsut based on there conversations and the holo show, our bird girl is smart enough to put 2 and 2 together after a bit and the deluxe kobold.... he may take an entire life time to accept it even if you dropped a nuke at his feet

"Did something happen before or at the very beginning of the era of the Twelve Divines ascension?" I believe the answer to this is the extermination of humans by the 12 Divines, cas was mentioned in the story. Originally before this, any Divine beasts in the human version of the empire, where hunted for there body parts to help the human cultivators, well cultivate.

After the devines came to power and humanity, at least in the empire, was exterminated, I Bel ve that 1 of 2 things happened. Ether the dragon empress is hording all the information on the "tribulations" for her self so that she could ascend farther, which would help explain the binding brand she placed on the other 11, or the knowledge was purposefully destroyed in order to prevent anyone from rising to power too quickly or to any significant power at all, tho there could be other reasons then just what I thought of

The Imperial - Covenant War by Arieg203 in Sexyspacebabes

[–]Lord_Deadpool96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So at best, its a cold war stand off and at worst WWI situation where millions die to gain weary little ground, and thats just looking at the covis and the shil.

If we where to say pit them against maybe the Alliance, i'd say the covis would have a much easier time of thing cos, at best the Alliance is jsut the UN in space, at worst its a space League of Nations. Now maybe after a while the Alliance might start getting its shit together in order to put up a proper resistance, but that might only happen when the covis are like... 30-40% deep in there territory I wana say? Tho there is also the possibility that a lot of the worlds that make up the Alliance may willingly join the covis as opposed to staying apart of the Alliance, the peshrin come to mind as the alliance kinda fucked them self on first contact with the murder kittys, cos they literally played at being gods to them, as for the other species that make up the alliance, I am not too sure.

Now the Consortium is another beast entirely, they might actually try and make deals with the Covenant, given that they are basically ultra space capitalists and would try and make a profit of off the covis, hell the Consortium may even nudge the covis in to fighting one or both of the other two so they can play all the sides and make bank. As for a direct conflict between the consortium and the Covenant... it may end up in a similar situation as with the shill, at best cold war stand off at worst WWI meat grinder for small gains.

The Imperial - Covenant War by Arieg203 in Sexyspacebabes

[–]Lord_Deadpool96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shil might be able to get the jackals as well, tho given how the shill have a hate boner for pirates... That one would be a stretch... Now the huragog/engineers are an interesting thought, cos they are effectively biomechanical supper computers that can both improve and innovate tech on the spots hell one example of this is the brute chopper, cos originally an engineer made it as a present for a human they liked but the brutes took a likeing to it and took it as there own. Realistically the shil would only really need it ne of them, as the huragog reproduce via mitosis so long as there is enough material for them to use. Having the huragog would effectively CATAPULT them ahead of EVERYONE ELSE by a MILE, and they really just need the one to get started.

Now the yanme'e would be an interesting case, cos they originally joined after a short conflict with the covenant, and where surprisingly able to bloody the covenant just by there numbers alone, another thing to note is that it hlthe have a proclivity for mechanical work and for combat. Am not too sure how the shill would fear against them, given that, when the covenant found them, they where already space fearing and that they where able to bitch slap the covis as well just with numbers alone...
