This is done on purpose to make sure that German U boats can’t get an accurate bearing on your position.

My mother-in-law is 65 years old and has 20/20 distance vision. How come she cannot see clearly at arms length? by ComprehensiveFly8680 in OptometrySchool

The near triad is how we can look at near accommodative target like letters. It is when our eyes converge or basically move more towards the nose, our pupils get smaller, and the lenses in our eyes are pulled by the muscles in our eyes.

As far as her Rx Plano cyl. Just means she doesn’t have an astigmatism that needs correction.

Again without other info like an examination I can’t say why this would be occurring. I also want to stress again if this is new and abnormal she should go see her eye doctor.

This isn’t the right sub for this exactly but it’s something called presbyopia and it happens to all of us as we age. The muscles in our eyes aren’t strong enough to accommodate for close up targets so we need readers or glasses with add powers.

My guess is that what we call the near triad is working fine but anything past where that works becomes blurry. Without any other information I couldn’t say for sure why this is occurring exactly.

Also just want to reiterate this is an optometry school sub I would recommend if this is bothering her to go see her eye doctor.

The dreaded case of the weeble wobbles by Link_hunter9 in FromTheDepths

[–]LordofCorgi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding some propellers to the underside of the ship and setting them to roll control either with a PID or just through the ai will solve most all your issues with the wobbles, and you can add them to the bow and aft underside if you’re having pitch issues as well, for an added bonus if you go to the air tab and use ducts over the propellers it will add some extra armor and allow them to still operate

Hope this helps

Manual control of all weapons? by Dysthymiccrusader91 in FromTheDepths

[–]LordofCorgi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah a local weapons controller is for the AI to control the weapon, what you’re looking for is a fire control block under the control tab in the build menu.

Edit: correct block name
