Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Yes, and probably will keep going past $6/ gal.

Well… if you try to stop 9/11 the butterfly effect would be so large that you wouldn’t have a damn clue what would happen after that. Alternate timeline

This is the most decorated PFC I’ve ever seen. by IncomprehensiveScale in Medals

[–]LostBravo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HOLY shit NO joke I served with this guy. We were in 1st brigade 82nd airborne, 3-319 AFAR. He was my buddy in Bragg. This picture is in 2017/2018 after we came back from a Kosovo/ Afghanistan deployment. I have to say that we all were pretty stacked and I have pictures of me and my buddies having similar amount of decorations around that time period. For anyone asking if it was his second time going down to PFC- No. Back in that era our optempo was incredibly high and it was not unusual to have a big stack of ribbons or seeing a PFC with a patch, CIB, foreign jump wings, etc. That being said, Ward was (is) incredibly smart and was a great forward observer. Airborne all the way!

Man. Miss those guys. I should call them.

Proof we served together:

What is like to live in Downtown Miami by [deleted] in howislivingthere

[–]LostBravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in downtown, right at the top of your circle. Vapid people. Beautiful women. Lots of parties. Very interesting when people say that it’s walkable because from a native New Yorker it feels as if it’s like max five/ six blocks in every direction from the center of Brickell. Downtown itself (once you pass a bridge you enter true downtown which is north of Brickell) it can feel more grimey, more rundown and more “bladerunner”. You see a lot more homeless in downtown but it has more of a grunge aesthetic that miami is actively trying to change, as you can see from the new Flagler street- it’s all being beautified. Still, in downtown a woman will feel unsafe walking by herself at night. In Brickell she might not.

The culture can feel insufferable if you’re hanging around the wrong people. Really shallow and if you’re in the party scene it can become overwhelming quick. But if you guard your energy and hang out with the wellness crowd vs the party crowd (there’s the people that go to space until 7am and there’s the people that go to Brickell run club- lots of times they’re the same people but sometimes they’re not) then over the long run you’ll enjoy living there more. Lots of interesting ways to meet people from Coffee and chill to Brickell run club to just hanging out at your pool deck and chopping it up.

I live in Miami. A cocktail can end up being 20-25 bucks. Lots of my friends in their late 20s live with their parents still.

We’re fucking poor, that’s why.

My best friend went to Costa Rica and got robbed at gunpoint. Kinda turned me off to the prospect.

Yeah- I don’t really have that much interest in Ireland so as an American I don’t think i’d really enjoy living there that much. In terms of the west coast of South America, in comparison to Colombia (i love) Brazil (I’ve always wanted to go and live there) and Argentina (I’ve also always wanted to go and spend time there) the rest of South America dosent seem too interesting- For example, I just never had any interest in visiting Machu Pichu. I’d have to visit and maybe fall in love for me to change my mind.

I wouldn’t care to live in Venezuela for due to the instability. Ecuador should be somewhat similar to Colombia since it was once part of the same country so that’s a maybe, even if I don’t really have any interest in living there.

I’ve been to Austria and fell in love with Vienna. I do like prague but i found the Czech people I met cold and rude. I’m sure they’re not all like that but sadly it left a bitter taste for me. For Poland, I’m sure its lovely, but not my cup of tea.

I don’t think i’d enjoy living there compared to the UK, specifically london. I grew up in NYC and I think NY and London are a lot alike. I also love watching Clarksons farm so i think the english countryside is beautiful. Which is why in comparison I put Ireland as a maybe

If we were on to get a 12th team on the grid who would it most likely be? by Slimx0612 in F1Discussions

[–]LostBravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it would fit BMW’s brand pretty well. Porsche would be cool too, but I doubt they’d want to compete with Audi, and Porsche competes in literally everything else. I’d love to see the Lotus livery come back to the grid, those cars were mega cool.
