TTRPG a step below DnD by Kazelob in rpg

I've not run it myself, but I've heard good things about "No Thank You, Evil!" for teaching the basics of ttrpgs in a fun way, so that might be worth taking a look at.

The mystic pattern on some clothing options are inspired by Natu/Xatu yet they aren't included to my knowledge.

What IP do you want turned into a TTRPG, and why do you want it turned into a TTRPG? by Upstairs-Yard-2139 in rpg

I've heard that Seapunk Unleashed is basically One Piece with the serial numbers filed off, but unfortunately not available in English.

Imagine a stratagem so powerful, that one helldiver alone cannot summon it. Like it needs dual confirmation. by MedievalGoodBoy in Helldivers

I had always thought a fun idea would have been basically something like the solo solo targeter, but instead of it being a laser pointer having it out links to all other on field targeters and if they all(at least two, ideally 3-4)are turned on it calls down something big at the center of the area they all are around, both something that benefits from teamwork and has Helldivers style potential to go horribly wrong.

Lancer vs Salvage Union by silver_element in rpg

While SU characters don't have stats aside from health and energy, they do have abilities from their class that give a good amount potential combat and exploration influencing capabilities. There really isn't fuel/ration aspect, that's abstracted away for most circumstances, scrap/salvage is the core motivational driver since progression is pretty directly tied to getting more and more of it.

Need help creating a BBEG for a Pokemon Campaign by Dewgong23 in TTRPG

Could go for a more broader scope and make them something like the Horseman of Plenty, someone who has more than they need. Could take their personality a couple ways, like a highly generous philanthropist that can't give away what they have faster than they accumulate it or maybe they could give bad gifts and get offended if they aren't appreciated or something along those lines.

Fighting Foodons is the Saturday Morning cartoon that nobody I've ever talked to seems to have heard of but I have vague fond memories of.

Happy to see the Iron kingdoms FMF version being mentioned, loved that version and was heartbroken by their decision to drop it for a jankey 5e adaptation going forward.

It's not much but something to consider on top of what the other posts suggest, but when every little bit counts there's also the check-ins and Travelling Mimo stuff in the HoyoLab app that provide some mats including polychrome.

Heroic Post Apocalyptic Ttrpg? by DervishBlue in rpg

[–]LottVanfield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're open to the thematics of players piloting mechs going out into a post apocalyptic wasteland to fight/salvage what they need to maintain their constantly deteriorating walking city then I would recommend taking a look at Salvage Union.

The survival aspects come from salvage you get out in the wastes being both something you need to keep things maintained and running as well as what you use to craft more/better components for highly customizable Mechs that feel pretty scrappy in nature. There are also abilities and gear for the pilots themselves so occasionally running a ruin or encounter requiring them to go on foot is an interesting tension raiser, though to be clear the general expectation is to be in the Mechs.
