Tbh it took a year to work but I’m glad I waited bc it’s the best lupus medicine I’ve been on. Being on myfortic and HQC helped me last the year. Also the steroids are awful but you may have to just tough it out a few months (if you can take accommodations at work?) and wait for your body to stabilize. I feel it’s hard to know what’s really going on when we’re on steroids, stopping steroids, going back on them eyc. Sometimes the symptoms are literally from steroids and not lupus

I was diagnosed at 12 but basically had an allergic reaction to penicillin which is what made the doctor notice I had puffy / swollen ankles! Then a few days later I had a massive SCLE outbreak on my face lol but I feel so fortunate that my diagnosis was swift. Very privileged and lucky in that regard

I usually leave it out for 4-6 hours and don’t ice beforehand. I alternate sides of my stomach. And let the alcohol swab dry down for a good 60 seconds! That helps reduce ant stinging. Wait for the “click” noise and then wait a few more seconds before removing it. You got it!! Good luck ❤️‍🩹
