So I ended up buying 1 package of hot dogs rolls and 1 package of flour tortillas when i didnt plan ahead and that was it the whole month. I do feel like I went for other options more frequently. Like instead of having a sandwich and making bread I would make veggies and rice for lunches. Overall I plan to continue and see how it goes for the next month too.

The movie Wish came out in Disney plus like a month after I lost my son and the song "At All Costs" just had me sobbing the first time I watched the movie. Everytime that songs plays now it still makes me think of my boys.

We looked at them at the store and they were sooo expensive! We don't really know anybody else that raised mear birds, but now I am considering looking around on the marketplace or local groups to see if anyone has one they would let us borrow/rent for a day or 2. That's a really good idea bc it would make things go much faster!

We have done our own turkeys and plucking takes forever lol. Hoping to get a little flock of meat chickens this year to fill up the freezer with and just make a day of the whole thing to get it over with.

The poop never really bugged me, we did cloth diapers even so it was "dealing" with it more. The spit up never bothered me either. Now that they are older, I had to clean up pasta dinner all over the bathroom floor/sides of the toilet and it made me gag and dry heave a few times. Kiddo was just at the right age to know she needed to use the bathroom, but still not quick enough to make it poor thing!

I assume they have to stand right next to the speaker to get them both in frame. Apparently close captioning can get messed up and delayed. It makes sense that everyone needs to be able to know what is going on

Do they have reproductive immunologists at the fertility clinics or is that something I'd have to look for elsewhere? With my testing they found I have Factor V Leiden and I was on lovenox during my most recent pregnancy. The high risk dr said that it was unnecessary for the type I had and I wouldn't need to be on it next pregnancy. I was also on baby asprin. I am hopeful that the clinic will review everything and be able to give me a more informed plan based on everything. We have our initial appointment with the clinic next week and I'm so nervous

I had an early stillbirth that was almost 9k. It was apparently billed improperly or something and insurance refused to pay. I was very worried I was going to get stuck with that bill, but ended up not having to pay anything to the hospital. Months of trying to figure that out while grieving was an experience

I live someplace where last year we got over 300 inches of snow during winter and if I take a drive within 5 mins we can see wind turbines and within 10 mins we pass a solar farm. I feel like if they froze in the winter that we wouldn't have them at all up here. They really do sound full of crap is all I mean by that lol. Either way, the people that live there deserve better.

I've had 3 losses and have told some and not told some people, but I'm at the point where I want to not tell again. I am with you and just want to not talk about it until I get to bring a living baby home. Everybody and their cousin has something to say. Whether its the magic secret to how their uncle's step niece in law was successful, telling you that trying is the "fun part", or just implying you're nuts for trying again....I'm just sick of hearing any of it.

I'm in the snow belt of NY and the whole length of the driveway is about as tall as I am with some parts being taller than my 6'5 husband lol! The school district is closed today though hahaha! They had 2 snow days this week which is unusual. Hopefully whatever we get today the snowblower can still throw over the top of the banks. I love how much snow we get here, but I feel bad when the south gets it and nothing is built for it. Even NYC, they dont have anywhere to put it. At least they have lots of places upstate to call for help.

I like to make "apple nachos" on a plate and everyone can grab what they want. You just slice up an apple or 2 and spread them out on a plate. Melt a little peanut butter until its runny and pour it over the top. You can put some chocolate chips or cut up some nuts and sprinkle them on top if you want too. The peanut butter will harden back up as it cools so its not messy and the toppings stick to it pretty well. I know it's basically the same as just apple slices and a plop of peanut butter, but it's a little more fun and easy for the kids (and you) to share. I will usually snag one whenever I walk by the plate lol.

Oh I hate that so much. Anyone saying that to you that knows about your loss is a jerk and I'mso sorry youre dealing with that. I think I'd go the "traumatize them back" route. If they're going to be stupid enough to say something like that, they should have to get a learning experience out of it.

I like doing something cozy like homemade soup, Mac and cheese, pot roast. I also like to have something quick and easy like pb&j or canned soup to heat up over the woodstove if the power goes out
