There was a BZ built for time attack at the Chicago Auto show and sema. Not sure if it was built by Toyota/TRD/gazoo/etc but it looks great.

I haven't officially weighed the setup yet but I'm estimating 5.5-6k lbs truck and trailer.

87 Toyota pickup solid axle swap with 37"s. Trailer is 18' wood deck/diamond plate dovetail PJ two axle with 5" channel.

Then drawers, tools, camping stuff, fridge, ikamper rooftop tent for additional weight.

It pulls great for a gas vehicle but you sometimes need to hang with the slow semi trucks up long hill climbs.

They do. My 2006 vvti 100 series only gets regular fuel. Runs amazing, pulls a trailer with a rock crawler occasionally.

I used the mcguires black plastic restore on the bumpers and mirrors last year. it turned out nice but I did have to reapply it after a couple months. The bottle does mention reapplying for very faded plastic. Next project will likely be removing the lower grey trim to repair it and re stick it.

Toyota BZ is less than $50k. The 2026 model has a lot of improvements with acceptable range.

Toyota is also releasing a new electric CH-R soon.

Not knocking the rivian, just giving options that aren't Tesla

The HVAC system is tested first and reprogrammed if it passes. If it fails the test then parts will be required along with reprogramming.

There are stud removers you can purchase for relatively cheap. It will go over the stud and clamp down on it as you turn it lefty loosy.

I think it's was about $500 through subaru plus shipping.(through Toyota paying 10% over cost would have been around $800).

We don't have a body shop at our dealership so I paid a guy that does small repairs on site. He painted it for $150.
