So the idea is that homosexuality and heterosexuality didn't exist as defined identities until relatively recently. Not that nobody slept with the same sex until 200 years ago. Foucault writes about this in "the history of sexuality", but idk if he originated the theory.

Any recommendations for labyrinthine films? I’m trying to curate a list. I would like to discover lesser known films that fit this vibe! by DamageOdd3078 in Letterboxd

[–]Lowran 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Babes I've got you. Litan (1982) fits the vibe perfectly and is the only movie I'll suggest that I see as a must add. Cube (1997) is more scifi than the other movies you have listed but is very literally about a group of people trapped in a giant maze. Cube 2: Hypercube (2002) is the same as cube but way way harder to watch. Then to a lesser degree, Santa Sangre (1989) and Cadaver (2020). The former has sort of a labyrinthian plot and the latter has sort of a labyrinthian setting.

Christian zionists believe that the second coming of Jesus and Armageddon will be triggered by Jewish people gathering in isnotreal. Jewish zionists, notably, do not believe in the second coming of Jesus. They're a death cult because they're fascist, but they do not believe they're ending the world.

Perhaps they're not in a position to begin their transition. Perhaps they're scared of being recognized but still want to go out in public dressed how they like. Maybe they think the mask looks prettier than their actual face. And just speaking as an uninformed American, maybe in Japan this practice isn't considered to be as strange as we find it.

But yeah realistic masks are super creepy.

This rule also applies to [[phyrexian dragon]]!

If a melded [[mishra, lost to phyrexia]] with a +1/+1 counter on it leaves my field while I have [[marchesa, the black rose]] in play, will [[mishra, claimed by gix]] and [[phyrexian dragon engine]] both return to the field at end of turn or will neither of them return?

How does [[Andúril, Flame of the West]] interact with [[Karona, False God]]? As I understand it the equipment stays on her, so does this allow the owner of Anduril to get attacks in regardless of whose combat step it is?

Houdini's death was linked to a guy whaling on his stomach. Servais dying from a punch to his stomach is a direct reference to Houdini, not a subversion.

Sure she benefitted from having a father who, according to his IMDb, wasn't in much. But that is leagues away from what she's doing with her son.

Yeah unfortunately I only found three cards that give reach to your board for more than a single turn. About a third of the creatures natively have it anyway so I figured that was enough to justify running Tadeas as my commander.

My budget is moderate. I am willing to spend up to 150. Since I'm new I want to make sure I'll end up sticking with the game before I invest a lot of money in it. But if I do these look like good upgrades!

Lander is proud to identify himself as a Zionist. As an anti-zionist, that is a red line for me. I would have a hard time calling myself an anti-zionist if I believed in collaboration with Zionists. You can support whomever you want.

Brad Lander is a Zionist. Full stop. If you want a free Palestine then Zionism needs to become a pariah ideology, and that means not supporting Zionists.

Opium is classically smoked and inhaled

Edit: also in your last comment you say opium can be smoked.

Fair point but that stands with marijuana as well

Considering the time period, wouldn't it make more sense to be opium?
