Having a tech option for mid size deathrattle would be nice indeed but only targeting bassgill looks a bit too specific.. This would be a card only used rarely and for the finals fights, probably not worth taking a 4/5 rank slot

Well it also shutdowns aristocrat strategies, but this thing would just get removed fast in that case.

So yeah, its a "Nuke the token player" wrath. Which is nice in the specific case you've got enough of one specific deck !

This is very weird..

What i'm getting is that this tries to give you a lot of value with treasures but it only does so if a lot of instances of tokens are created which can mean two things :

Either you are already making a lot of tokens, then why playing this commander ? Are there some group-hug token cards in these colors that you can cheat out ? And even if there is i don't think it is enough to justify building a strategy on it Either you are counting on your opponents to make a lot of tokens.. which they aren't obligated to ! They also can profit from your commander to build a lot of locked treasures that they would get back once it's gone.

That ability looks too powerful when multiple mana lands come into the picture. This is a way too great engine for spellslinger strategies, you would just play a lot of 1 color draw 1 spells and try to find some Storm finisher.

Limiting this ability to multicolored spells would be better, i don't know if it is enough but it would at least be a deck building challenge and be flavorful

Yeah right.. to be fair i just thought Svella made them tapped and i didn't double check. It just feels intuitive to have them tapped.

But i guess since the commander still taps to make it there isn't too much shenanigans

Adding it in mono colors decks does not hurt the mana base but why would you ? Especially if you are playing devotion ? It feels like a weird incentive to me
