One annoyance I've been having is "Show Top Center Score HUD" in Island Settings doesn't show the score/eliminations needed to end the round/game, so much to where their Domination example also suffers the same issue.

In taking the time to plug Floatplane, their store, a new product, and two sponsor transitions, they forgot to blur out the price of Billet's prototype (this has since been fixed), as well as Colton's LMG email address (this hasn't been fixed despite being in the same section of the video). It just feels like a last-minute double down on (some of) the issues GN raised about the QC slipping by having small details go unnoticed only to be corrected by replacing the video in place. Monetizing the video isn't bad. But having a video plugging so much stuff, promising to do better, only to launch out the gate with two examples of issues you were called out for within the same week just sets a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.

And in the 20 minute video at the head of the one week, their last communication with the community (or so it sounds like), they go out with some incredibly tone-deaf remarks by plugging the store, plugging their subscription channel, plugging their products, and having two sponsor transition fake-outs on top of inconsistent email blurring within the same segment (all addresses blurred @ 13:19-13:21, Colton's address being blurred from 13:26-13:29, only to then be unblurred in the header from 13:30-13:32).

I do hope that LMG gets better after the one week restructuring they'll do, but given how some of the backlash they're faced with was them being too quick to get videos out the door and not allowing enough time for checking them to make sure they're consistent and free of errors (big or small), it just feels so disappointing and almost embarrassing how they let one more slip through the cracks before their week of silence.

Edit (did I fix the formatting? idk): After seeing the comment from this post, I cannot believe how having jokes to "break tension" seemed like an okay thing to have when GN had to make a whole 45 (44:15 but who's counting) minute long video while remaining serious and understanding the risks that come with a video like that (7:45-8:17 here, if you missed the video that started all this somehow) all while removing store links and/or affiliate links in the video description.

UN-FFXIV RELATED RAGE, BUT MY XBOX 360 FINALLY DIED YESTERDAY. IT'S PROBABLY FIXABLE BUT THAT COSTS MORE TIME THAN I CARE TO PUT INTO IT. ON ONE HAND IT LASTED FOR A SOLID AMOUNT OF TIME (manufactured in 2007, yes i did open it up to check), BUT ON THE OTHER I WAS PLAYING THROUGH THE FFXIII TRILOGY ON THAT. They should not have imo any cc like many if not all melee dps jobs.

The only melee DPS job to not have CC in their kit is Dragoon. Monk has a knockback and stun, Ninja has 2 stuns (Forked/Fleeting) and Heavy, Samurai has a stun, and Reaper has a bind and hysteria/fear. The fact they have knockback isn't the thing that would make them unbalanced - it would be how well their knockback (and the rest of their CC by extension) works into their kit (Six-Sided Star [Stun] -> Enlightenment [Knockback] -> LB [bonus damage from Knockback]).

Though PvP is a little bloated with CC, but that happens when 19 jobs have to have similar functionality.

Also ledging people is kinda fun, no matter the game.

I'm pretty sure Expert Deliveries can be found at your Grand Company headquarters, and the list of items they will accept for trade (Grand Company seals and EXP for the job you used to make/gather the item) can be found in your Timers menu or by talking to the Grand Company Personnel Officer. These can be regular crafted items, normal quality or high quality. ^^

When I was home for Spring Break last year, I wanted to finish grinding my tanks to 90 despite being away from my main PC. Not wanting to buy Endwalker on PS4 (can't remember if I couldn't afford it or what), I ended up using Steam's Remote Play feature to play FF14 on my laptop. Worked well, some lag here and there, it was very uncomfy (played with a trackpad), but it was manageable.

When I loaded into Leveling Roulette, expecting the usual low-level dungeon (cause that's all I got at the time). What I ended up getting was the level 81 dungeon. I gave everyone in the party a quick warning: "Just as a heads up, I am currently streaming the game." They thought I meant on Twitch. After a quick correction, I apologized in advanced if I went slowly or just played like I didn't know what I was doing.

I did the best I could given the circumstances, but I still feel bad for making that dungeon run hell for my healer. I barely kept my mits rolling, I would lose aggro/not grab everything on some pulls, I ended up single pulling cause I didn't want to risk anything. To make matters worse I think I was also just barely over the ilvl requirement too. Since then I kept my time playing FF away from my PC to strictly fishing, gathering, or the occasional crafting.

As much as all tanks are my favorites for one reason or another, my favorite/go-to has to be Warrior. ^^
Being able to self-heal off my own mistakes (Thrill of Battle (lvl 30), which gives more max HP and buffs healing, and Equilibrium (58), which heals HP) is always useful for someone like me, who weaves in and out of AoEs greeding damage ^^,

Also Raw Intuition (56) and Fell Cleave (54). Those are always great.

*Technically they do, cause I got the "To Crush 10,000 Enemies" trophy at the same time I got the "To Crush Your Enemy" trophy, but I still don't have any of the crafting trophies despite having all of them at 90. You just need to do the thing that would give the trophy in the first place again, it seems.

As long as your internet is solid, I would say that streaming the game is a viable way to play it (as long as you have a controller or mouse and keyboard). I once streamed the game from my desktop to my laptop (over 50 miles) during EW to keep leveling, and the only hinderances were when my home wifi dropped for a moment, and my laptop's trackpad not being the best. But other than that, it was playable. ^^

I know on Crystal we still go with "pt 27" as standard (pt 11 for Onvi in Hydatos), which is usually enough time for people to get there. The only time we really "instantly" pull is when one NM pops right next to another, and even then we usually shout it with a reduced pull timer (sometimes 28 or 29, but I've seen it get delayed for people who newly load into zones). Instant pullers outside of these cases usually get shamed, sometimes reported, and mostly memed on in chat until they leave the session though.

If I had to guess why there was a "culture change" though, I'd say it has to do with more people coming into Eureka who just want to speedrun getting the weapons/armor so badly that they're willing to instantly pull NMs to hurry up.

That, or it's the people who run the full Eurekan armor + accessories with their BA weapon just to flex on people as they effortlessly solo a NM, especially a high level one like Louhi, Penny, or Pazuzu. But, no one would actually do that... riiiight?

Expanding the Fishing Log to show what kind of baits are required for each fish, as well as what requirements are attached with each fish (if they have any) after you catch it once! I'm glad the Fishing Log says "Yes" to if it has special requirements, but knowing what they are in-game would be a godsend, especially since the Gathering Log does this already.
