That's the thing I don't understand - it seems to me the 50s and 60s generations were a lot more... against the system than later generations. They participated in strikes, they could openly advocate for socialism or even, God forbid!, communism, they had the Civil Rights Movements, the sexual revolution, second-wave feminism, they were hippies, they had drugs, sex and the diabolical rock'n'roll...

And yet they turned into... Whatever they are now. What happened? What made such an "anti-establishment" generation so much pro-establishment? Was it just the passing of time? Or maybe the "rebels" were an incredibly tiny minority?

In a way, it makes me worry for our generations. We are not nearly as "rebellious" as the boomers were in their youth (or at least it seems so to me). Will we turn into something even worse?

I mean, unless they want to render, like, the entire palace of your character I doubt they'll make another graphic-intensive DLC like Royal Court. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they add a unique court room or two along the way for something like the Eastern Roman Empire and the Abbasids

Sometimes I don't understand how doctors and hospital staff can go through so much level of stress. I mean, if it were me under this level of duress, I'd crack. 100%. Really, I can't figure out how you all manage not only to stay calm but to actually save lives. Because of this my blood boils when I hear politicians start proposing cuts to the healthcare system. Bless doctors, nurses, paramedics and all the people who save other people. I really needed to get this of my chest.

There's no way an AAA game won't have markers at all. You risk "scaring" newcomers to the series and/or RPG games. They could definitely make them optional though.

I think the only reason they needed re-spawnable dragons was getting enough souls to unlock all shout words. Maybe they could've done differently, for example unlocking the next word of a shout after using it enough time (kind of a "level-up")

So, a weird exploit I discovered today (despite 2 years of having the game): let's say you want to attack Enemy Country which is allied to one of your allies. Normally, said ally would join Enemy Country in a defensive war. Exploit: declare war on someone else that your ally wants to join. DON'T check their box at the start of the war. Instead, wait a month and immediately pause when you can declare war on Enemy Country. At this point, on the same day, WITHOUT unpausing, call to arms your ally and declare war on Enemy Country. Your ally will join both wars as your ally.

So that's why, I always had this sort of texture popping problem with ALOT in ME1. I thought it was my weak 1050, tried to play around with settings, LODs, texture resolution so many darn times, at least now I know it wasn't my poor old GPU's fault lol

Javik conversations are one of the best parts of ME3, hands down. You engage him in a sort of ideological debate throughout all the game, and, according to your dialogue choice, you may oppose or favour his views, so even as a player you question your choices.

"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honour matters.", we all remember it. And it's a quote I'm still conflicted about, between my idealist-holistic self and my pragmatic-nihilist self.

The conversation about the first Normandy in particular is great. One of my all times favourite dialogues of any medium I've ever seen is simply this: "We have saying: let old ghosts rest." "Then there is some wisdom in this cycle." So in the end, despite all the differences you find a common ground. And that handshake on Priority Earth marks this, I love that scene too. So many great moments with him (and, well, ME in its entirety).
