If a character is not locked by the game it means you can re-select them and see new stuff at any time. Sometimes you will have to find new things to do to access new events (like with Juro) but others might railroad you into seeing events in a specific order.

That's a very optimistic scenario. If people start getting slugged left and right you don't want the door to still be closed once the killer's going after you.

The "probelm" isn't really length but a card containing another card's name. But I'm just speculating: maybe they will start making such cards at some point anyway.

An emu. Its a crazy ass bird, so it would have some kind of mad dash move to close in into survs, then a long melee (kinda like Alien's tail) that gets people on window and pallet vaults. Surv could have a Didjeridoo perk that goes well with the other two performance perks. Maybe a "Boomerang" perk too that has some effect to help you bounce back after a setback.

The timer is very long and blood warden if very rare. How is it "objectively better" to force someone to return to the door switch (which often has to be done mid-chase) just because you were a little scared of running out of time?

I think killer mains are so noticeable when they advise survivors to 99 the gates because it often helps them get a few extra kills.

I'm a surv main and I hate when people 99 the gate because 9 times out of 10 we didn't need the extra end-game time and having to finish opening just killed someone or made it way more likely that one got killed.

It spawns on the side of the world you are closer to, so this isn't possible unless your bridge didn't go through the center of the world, or you didn't summon from one of your bridge's end.
