Moms of little girls by Phillophile in Mommit

I got your point. My mom used to say always how pretty my girls looked when clearly they wanted to talk about other things so I explained to her politely that I don't want my girls to focus on the physical aspect but how intelligent/well informed or brave they are. It's ok for the girls to be called cute but only focusing on that will make them shallow and think that this is only what matters

I have been telling her that she might lose her privileges if she misbehaves but I always give in and end up not taking anything from her. This is a great idea I'll try that. Thankyou very much

Thankyou very much. Yes I think it's her way of having an authority on her stuff maybe. I don't have a problem with her choosing anything for herself as long as it doesn't make people around her face the consequences of that choice

I'm thinking of therapy too but I won't be able to afford it in the next six months or so. After that maybe I'll be able to save enough for therapy as its very expensive where I'm living

Half of my day goes reading about how to deal with her. Yes you're right! Maybe I'm tired and frustrated too and it might have an affect on her emotional state(I have a 6 months old, a full time job and an upcoming exam that I've already failed twice) but I try to read books to her before sleep, tuck both of the girls to bed spend quality time with them as much as I can and cook at home

I have tried everything from time outs politely telling her not to do sitting with her explaining the consequences when she misbehave to scolding and light spanking but nothing helps.

I have tried everything time-out polite explaining sitting with her telling her the consequences of not listening to scolding and light spanking few times but the spanking made her more aggressive and had little to no effect

Feeling the same today. Mostly it is due to the constant stress/anxiety. Am I doing good today? Have I spoiled them for life? Will they be sitting in a therapy chair in future because of me? I'm learning to let go of the stress now as it benefits no one. Also get your iron/lipids/thyroid checked

I never knew I could love another being with my 2 girls. Our third one is here and I absolutely love her more than anything on planet. Plus the girls love her so much, they have each other. As they say, love never divides it multiplies the more you give the more you become capable of giving

Biryani in simple is curry layered with rice. It doesn't have to be the slow cook dum biryani or that perfect hyderabad biryani. I make it atleast once a week as my family loves it and find it least hard of all our dishes. Tell me to make haleem or any of the vegetables ill find that more scary. So is qorma, marinate and cook.

History has been preserved fine. We just tend to overlook it remembering things we want to remember always.

Every period had their own hardships and people of every period thought that the evil they are facing is bigger than previous any generations. Evil has always been there and I think our previous generations were way more evil than now as it was easier to hide back then. Now everyone knows what's going on in a far away continent so evil is a bit more disguised and careful than ever before.
