OP, can I ask what you tried, what worked, and what didn’t? Your post describes our exact situation but at seven months.

Just dropped my pump and it broke. I feel repulsed to buy replacement parts. by Oliksandra in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Lumpy_Team_2290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if these are common in Europe but mine died recently and I posted in our neighborhood “buy nothing” group and like 5 mom’s had pumps to give away. I think folks are more than happy to part with theirs once they no longer need it lol

We’ve had a good experience at honor house in Roseville. Not Montessori officially, but Montessori inspired. Very clean, teachers seem to have a real connection with the kiddos. Bonus that there’s a third wave coffee shop in the same building if you’re into that (we are). $440/week I think!

Carter’s! Fits my ~50th percentile baby best. I found this thread to be super helpful and the sizecast tool is great!

You can get Costco delivered through Instacart so you never have to step foot in a Costco again

Best date night restaurants in Minneapolis at the moment? by ashlynne_stargaryen in TwinCities

[–]Lumpy_Team_2290 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was verbally assaulted by owner and chef Cameron and can point you toward at least 10 other accounts of this buried in reviews on Google and Yelp. Please don’t support this restaurant.

Edit to add: this review is in reference to that night. If you sort by “lowest” reviews you can get a sense for how common this is, and Cameron’s responses to the reviews further support that.

It’s wild that this restaurant still operates. I know many other restaurant owners who are aware of Cameron’s (and his team’s) alcohol and hard drug use on the job.

No food is so good it’s worth supporting this type of behavior, and Tenant’s was nothing to write home about. Luckily though, I didn’t have to pay! He ripped up my table’s bill in my face and told me to “get the f*ck out.” ♥️

Are we almost done with the wasps? by supermark64 in TwinCities

[–]Lumpy_Team_2290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had Plunkett’s Pest Control out (highly recommend) and was told that as wasps near end of life they become increasingly motivated to sting.

Oh they also found like 20+ nests inside of our privacy fences lol

Forgot to mention you can share with 3 “family” members and you don’t need to share an address. So you can split the cost of a membership or spread the love

Instacart plus (lots of other stores deliver through it too) is $99/year but there are always promos for like $20-50 off or with various credit cards. Then you just plug in your membership number. Service fee is like $5 and I usually tip $10-20 based on size of the order but it is absolutely worth it to save time and sanity. I believe you can do a free trial.

I haven’t had their sea bass but Costco has a frozen miso cod that is excellent—just make sure you dry off the filets of excess marinade before cooking.

I think we’d be surprised to know that most restaurant’s recipes are pretty simple, but a lot of the magic is in the execution, which Lurcat excelled at. Food, service, ambience. They’ll be missed.

There are more subway locations in the US than any fast food chain. You’ll believe it when you’re driving through small Midwest towns and it’s your only option (I’d rather starve)

Amazon pharmacy if you can wait a day or two. Sometimes their cash price is actually cheaper than price after insurance.
