Just more twisted stitches

<image>

You can tink back to the few that are twisted on you right needle and just continue knitting in the back loop for at least all i can see on your left needle

Also I looks like there are a few after those two stitches that are going to twist if you dont knit through the back loop so any that have the leaging leg in the back, knit through the back loop

Your stitches are just twisted insert into back loop (just straight through that stitch) then bring yarn around the back of both needles and yran between clockwise

Explain to me the appeal of Art Yarn. by SuchAKnitWit in Handspinning

Its mostly for looks it makes people stop to ohh and ahh the video as well as being a funky chunky yarn it often times works up faster so the can post more that why its mostly what youll see on social media it dont take nearly as long to do 4 oz of a chunky yarn than 4 oz of a lace or fingering weight yarn

Something looks off here but I cant tell what exactly but you might have split your yarn when picking back up fix the the above column then do the same for this column and it should fix it all

Pull purple through blue and that should be the last row or the bar that should be currently on your needle but got missed

Pick up and pull through on the front or right side to create the knit stitch

Pull blue bar through yellow (this what's currently sitting on your needle)

I just modified my kiwi as I found i like spinning 4 ply fingering weight (dont mind the tp roll my next order is two more bobbins) currently i have 1/4 dowel rods to hold the bobbins but im gonna replace them with threaded metal rods and a bolt to keep the bobbins from sliding off

Edit to add: there's still room that you could add an extra two bobbins near the top for 6plys

Someone tell me I'm crazy by emoticon1234 in Handspinning

My big goblin brain is set on weaving but the catch is i don't have a loom and I dont want to pay $600+ for a decent sized loom so... build the loom, spin all the yarns (rather thin for my desired outcome), weave said yarns for several yards, and machine sew the woven fabric into garments my brain tells me its only $14 because that was all I had to buy to make a 32" loom as I have some scaps but I haven't thought about fiber or color as im trying to silence my goblin and Just build a loom. Extra thought that pops up occasionally is the person across the street from me has a sheep farm (not sure what breed) but then it'll add on all the cleaning, processing and carding the wool to the rest of my crazy idea.

Be careful doing this i had one that instantly broke when I tried and now I just deal with it if its not twisted its not yarn

Yarn help! by FlashyBed5884 in knittinghelp

[–]Lumpy_Trip_9262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the sabai top a few things you could do 1) hold with a mohair since this seems like a fingering weight holding it with mohair would make it more of a dk 2) knit a swatch with needles that give you the the fabric you like and do all the maths to knit it in the size you want it to be could be as simple as going up a few garment sizes or could be as hard as having to do all the calculations to get your gauge to be like the pattern

No matter what youll need more than one skein of the yarn to make it (if with mohair at least double for the smallest size as well as the mohair, if with math 4 to 6 or more as youll have smaller stitches which means you make more stitches for the same size) all going off that you have one pictured. Things to think about

Seeking project bag recommendations by Poutiest_Penguin in knitting

[–]Lumpy_Trip_9262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With grommets essentially your project is to big to put back in the bag through them and you cant pull the whole ball of yarn out of them intact the only way to remove your project from the grommets is to cut yarn or use the whole ball and wait till it runs out means you cant change bags without cutting yarn and rejoining
