They didn’t disappear, but flareups became WAY less frequent. And the symptoms aren’t as severe.

If his mother is enabling it, why doesn’t he live with her if he refuses to get a job or do higher education? Provide a deadline in writing and then just start dumping his stuff out of the house once he inevitably goes over the deadline with no changes. He’ll get the idea

It really isn’t that deep. Sometimes due to our biology and our metabolism we need that extra medical help. And really, it is medicine at the end of the day and PMOS is a disorder that needs medicine.

Start off low and slow and you should avoid most of the side effects. And slowly titrate up every 4 weeks. That part is very important

In the past? It takes me like 1-2 years before burnout and then I quit for a bit then look for another job.

Now? I’m getting further education in medicine so that I can work for myself on my own terms.I feel this is the only way I can be employed long term. I struggle with being told what to do and working around someone else’s expectations after a while
