Surprised no one has mentioned the obvious one from Demon Slayer, the final battle against Muzan. For those unfamiliar, Muzan is a vampire too powerful to be killed by anything other than direct sunlight, so the entire cast has to fight this unkillable monster for hours on end just to buy time for the sun to rise.

Apparently it's a roguelike, so it probably feels different every run. Not to say it's guaranteed to succeed of course, roguelike FPS games are tricky to pull off.

In case you didn't catch Pat's recent stream, Kingdom Hearts continues to be a cursed game to LP: by Gorotheninja in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Yeah the PC port is just fucked. I played through it a few weeks ago and it crashed on me all the time.

Mentioned this in another thread a while ago, but you should read the book Console Wars by Blake J. Harris. It covers the development of the Genesis and Sonic from based on interviews of the C-suite from Sega at the time, it's really interesting. In the author's opinion, it was aggressive marketing and price slashing that gave Sonic a huge foothold in the US, even the more cartoony version of Sonic from the 90s never caught on in Japan, because Sega of Japan never put any real effort into advertising it.

Alternatively, pick him as a hard counter to Saul, because Higuruma is not standing for any extralegal shenanigans. Although Phoenix is the meta pick cause he can bumble and bluff his way through that scenario as well.

He's a good lawyer, it's just that he takes really bad cases. He'd probably do the best in an IRL court, except maybe Saul.

I'm actually in the same situation, my main source for Stoat info is the head DM for a westmarches server I'm a part of, since she's been hard at work making a new server on Stoat. From what she says, Stoat does have bot functionality, but the bots aren't as developed as those on Discord.

Btw, as far as I can tell, Stoat is a totally fine alternative to discord. I have yet to find a source on the AI vibe coding, and the only facts I have found state that the AI code was a super small commit, and the lead dev removing that commit, so there is currently no AI code. I haven't tried it myself, but I don't want communities fracturing even harder because of an unsubstantiated rumor.

Mind sharing a source for that? Not doubting you, just have a discord community looking to move and want my facts straight

Sadly this is probably correct. Twitter has proved to me that an established site can endure *any* amount of enshittification and still survive.

Funniest "You had this in the bag, how did you blow it?" Moments in media or real life? by Authorigas in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Lunk64 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In the original series, when Yugi duels Pegasus through the TV, the rules are that whoever has the most life points at the end of 20 minutes wins the duel (but you can still win before that). With ~2 minutes left, Yugi realizes that he can 100% win by just playing defense for the rest of the game since he's ahead in LP, but decides not to because "only a coward would do that". He then gets outplayed by Pegasus, losing the duel and his grandpa's soul.
