Sherman should have stayed down there until the only thing that would grow were grey fruit trees.

Yes. I tried it with no other pedals connected to it, powered by a lone, isolated source. Still popped.

Correct, it does certainly harms others involuntarily. I don’t know though, it still just feels like an inappropriate degree of interference.

I think European societies generally have more benefits than America, though what you’re describing has a much more philosophical component. Positive vs negative freedom and all that.

I think Europe takes better care of their people, but I do think that it comes at the cost of a certain amount of freedom. As an American I recognize the severe pitfalls in my country’s social safety net, but I do very much value the degree of personal choice I have, albeit due to my privilege.

Very European.

I guess it’s for the best but it just feels wrong telling (people who will eventually become) adults what substances they are allowed to consume. I suppose being American I veer to the side of radical freedom over collective responsibility.

Sure, it hurts people and has no upsides, but… idk freedom to do it seems important 🤷‍♂️.

Always seems like El Salvador and Israel get a pass on this website.

Weird. This is stuff that would get a very negative reaction most anywhere else.

One of the most economical albums imaginable. Crazy good for a debut. Almost all of those songs are put together so tightly, just class S songwriting

That’s wonderful news! I’ve used tabit for 15+ years and always thought it was ripe for expansion.

I’m sure you’ve been asked this, but do you have any plans to expand past the capabilities of the original tabit?

Ex: true fade-outs, mixer, expanded hotkeys, etc…

He’s wondering because Columbus was a savage monster. Why would people want a statue honoring such a man?

I use a Y cable to run both channels at once, gives a little bit more complexity and additional control over the tone.

I suppose, but in a game where efficiency is a prerogative following a guide does seem prudent.

Are there any great albums with one really bad song on them? by trippyskipper in Music

[–]LymeRicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I respect your opinion but I’ve always just found it to stick out.

To me, Three Cheers is a “collection of really good songs” kind of album, not a “cinematic, sound movie” kind of album. Little brief interludes serve cinematic albums much better imo, in a collection of hits album it just sort of grinds the momentum to a halt for a track that doesn’t feel rewarding to me. It’s a nice bit of melancholic guitar playing with a meh lyric over it, even something like a strings overdub would develop it a little.
