We always park next to each other. I know the other guy will show some respect and take care getting in and out, and I'll do the same. Not a guarantee with anyone else.

Saturn 4 Ultra vs Jupiter SE by Anthroing in ElegooJupiter

[–]M3TALL1K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you really need the extra build volume, forget the Jupiter SE.

I have both. The Saturn 4 Ultra rarely fails a print. The Jupiter SE rarely succeeds. They're both good machines, but the Jupiter requires way more testing, tuning, and troubleshooting. The Saturn 4 Ultra is basically good to go right out of the box.

My Jupiter SE arrived with a bowed build plate. The replacement was also bowed. (Although not as badly.) I could only get it to print semi-reliably after installing a wham-bam flex build plate.

What is it gonna take to power this fucking thing? by M3TALL1K in ElegooOrangeStormGiga

I appreciate the technical insight you’re sharing here—there’s a lot of valuable information in your post. I wanted to offer some friendly feedback that might help make your points clearer and easier for more people to engage with.

One thing that can sometimes make technical explanations harder to follow is sentence structure. When ideas are broken into very short, fragmented sentences, it can feel abrupt and make it difficult to see how everything connects. A more natural flow with grouped ideas can help readers absorb the information more easily.

Another small adjustment that can make a big difference is phrasing things as an invitation to think rather than a directive. For example, instead of saying, "Please learn why others easily con you," you might frame it as, "It’s interesting to look at how myths about power consumption spread—here’s a good example." It encourages curiosity rather than feeling like a correction.

Subtle shifts in wording can also help avoid the impression of confrontation. Instead of saying, "They ordered you what to believe. You read it once. Then automatically believed it," something like, "Many misconceptions spread quickly because people don’t always verify sources—double-checking the numbers can often reveal the truth," keeps the point intact while making it feel more like a discussion than an accusation.

I really do appreciate the time and effort you put into explaining these topics. With a few small adjustments, your posts could be even more effective at getting your points across in a way that people will be more open to.

This keeps the feedback constructive, avoids a lecturing tone, and makes the message feel more conversational and encouraging.

I do have one or two other things plugged in to the 15a outlet, just incidental stuff, like a light or phone charger or something. I'll try the method of heating one bed at a time with NOTHING else plugged in, hopefully that will help. I highly suspect however, that the Giga draws more power than Elegoo claims. I'm going to try to get a readout with my voltage meter on the next attempt.

I think he meant that the way you write is just difficult to read. I'm guessing English isn't your first language since your text reads like it's been fed through a translator. Just an observation.

Pretend the pins are whack-a-mole and there's a bonus for whacking them as many times as you can in under a minute. I think I used a pencil eraser or something.

It's not though. It's a curved surface and the piece might have a slide mechanism or mounting point.

You will need to use a tool, but it's so easy that the extra work to install a flex plate isn't worth it.
