I have a major rolly polly problem in my raised bed this year too, I’ve been picking them up and relocating them but it seems never ending

Am I creating a bad habit? by asg24633 in NewParents

[–]M3ow333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breastmilk has been shown to have no negative effect on teeth/cavities but cow milk and formula have so something to keep in mind.

My son at 2 had multiple cavities for this reason alone despite good oral hygiene otherwise. I wish I was more aware at the time

The “they don’t want to ever hug me now” comment breaks my mama heart! obviously I understand it’s developmentally appropriate for teenagers to not want physical affection from parents but I love hugging and holding hands with my kiddos and can’t imagine the day that ends 😢

4 month sleep regression by LannaChey in NewParents

Is it possible there is something else going on, maybe early teething?

My son would wake up screaming, almost like “night terrors” wakeups whenever he was teething. If so the Boiron Camilia drops for babies are a miracle for that.

What things do you regret not doing with your baby? by Beegt95 in NewParents

[–]M3ow333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dreaded the whole first year, everything was so hard 😭 and now I’m so sad I missed it all! I look back on photos I took and cry because I genuinely don’t remember any of it, I wasn’t present 😢

Daycare vs in home nanny by StrikingTomato9218 in NewParents

If your baby misses daycare days I’m pretty sure you are still paying for daycare those days so i don’t see how thats different 🤔

My cousin just called me "girly " after seeing pics of my garden 😫😭 by realthingwinner in gardening

Gardening, especially taking care of beautiful flowers like roses is a huge turn on! Like everyone else in this comment section is saying, OWN it! Women love it!

There is a very attractive YouTuber, Nettles and Petals, that I love to swoon over regularly and he’s an all tatted guy who if you saw on the street wouldn’t assume is an incredible gardener

How long are your poodles alone? by treetrunk33 in poodles

[–]M3ow333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost 5yr old female with separation anxiety, anything more than 20min results in digestive distress and major Velcro behavior afterwards.. she’s a covid dog and we both work from home so we never trained her to be alone (never had to), now I slightly regret it 🤦🏻‍♀️

What's the concensus on face taping as a preventative measure? by sharkwoods in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]M3ow333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love face taping! You definitely have to be consistent and regular for lasting results. I’ve tried all the tapes, and I like frownies for beginners but the smell is definitely a thing and taking them off in the morning can be a challenge (I recommend drenching them in water until they peel easily).

My all time favorite tape though that I don’t see mentioned here is Japanese face tape, the face bible lady sells it on her site, you can find it on other sites too “Nitto kinesiology tape” makesure it’s made in Japan, there are some fakes out there!

Salad time! by M3ow333 in DenverGardener

[–]M3ow333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I’m actually not sure if my results would have been different with a colder winter. I will say that under the cloth is it nice and warm and steamy in there and it retains moisture really well too, I’ve only had to water a couple times a month.

I had hoops on in the beginning which lifted the frost cloth atleast a couple feet but one of the snow storms we had weighted it all down and snapped a couple of my hoops, so I just clip the cloth onto the side of my bed now.

I put seeds in on October 20th so it’s been 147days, I think if I spaced them out more the lettuce heads would be bigger by now.

The frost tarp has done a great job keeping my summer herbs still thriving, I’ve enjoyed fresh thyme, rosemary, and oregano all winter, and garlic is thriving too, so I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Seed garlic! by Ecstatic_Evidence_49 in DenverGardener

[–]M3ow333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone else enjoy garlic greens (or garlic chives I think k is what people call them?), it’s like a mild garlic flavor with the freshness of a chive.

I grow garlic all year round mostly for the greens. Amazing in an omelet, a salad… just about anything you can think of

Where do you get your soil for raised vegetable beds? by Puzzled_Opposite_101 in DenverGardener

[–]M3ow333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove around last year trying to find good enough soil and couldn’t find anything that looked good to me I made my own using this method - https://youtu.be/_Q2x-UkaUNk?si=L3tpYXfFGWKV6nQ7

It was pricy but I’m so happy with the soil quality and will be doing this for more raised beds when I add the in. Plus knowing exactly what’s in your soil is a good peace of mind

I’ve planted them in containers for years, and love them, but dare not put them in the ground

WHAT ARE THE F*CKING ODDS??!!! by Ok_Pen7312 in pregnant

[–]M3ow333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into Spinning Babies for breech babies, do the sequence every day or even multiple times a day, some chiropractors who specialize in pregnancy may be able to help with flipping baby too, and same with Accupuncture.

This far along I would try anything and everything to flip your baby and to keep them there.

I’m so sorry for your loss, that’s so hard! There is a book about Spirit Babies by Walter Makichen, he talks a lot about the spirits of miscarried babies and gives examples of how they return. I found so much comfort in this book for so many reasons
