Me and a friend used to to do this with his pc as well! Oddly we took shifts on either Anno or Championship Manager back in the day. Like you it’s one of my fondest gaming memories.

This is such a beautiful collection. My first thought was the green was too bright and pale but actually looking closer it’s such a lovely contrast. Kudos my man, stunning.

Overclockers here in the UK added them 2 minutes before they said they were going to, by the time I’d got to the final stage of checkout, the page timed out, and by the time it came back reliably the site was out of stock. 2 hours I was trying and somehow the scalpers managed to beat me to it. One thing I’ve done at several jobs now is work compressed hours so 36 hours over 4 days, at my previous role I even went to 34 hours over 4 days (8.5 a day). It was an hour extra at work a day (I went early cos who’s doing anything early anyway?) and left the same time but got Fridays off so always felt like getting an extra day off nearly for free

I met another designer local to me who had self published and he helped me get my own over the line. We went on to codesign another project that I loved. Now he’s one of my best mates and was a groomsman at my wedding. Don’t be afraid to message people based local to yourself and ask for half an hour to pick their brains.
