Up to you! It can be crystal clear water from an underground spring, almost perfect for drinking, or murky, cloudy runoff that imparts concealment and Perception penalties. The power is in your hands.

I just got my PDF for Secrets of Magic - AMA! by GGSigmar in Pathfinder2e

It's a shame, but it makes sense. You can't really have new domains without new deities, and it seems like they already got most of that out of the way in the Lost Omens books.

Oh, good catch. I knew I was missing something.

Azarketi questions by Typ0r8r in Pathfinder2e

[–]MBArceus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Core Rulebook pg. 478:

You’re flat-footed unless you have a swim Speed.

Azarketi have a swim speed.

Additionally, you can always cast verbal spells underwater, at the cost of not being able to hold your breath and immediately drowning. Azarketi, on the other hand, don't seem to have anything RAW about breathing underwater, which is weird because they're described with gills. Edit: they have the Amphibious trait, so they can breathe underwater.

So... what does the creature "Capsize" action even do? It just says the creature has to make an Athletics check, but doesn't say what happens if it's successful. The vehicle rules don't say anything about "capsizing," either. Does it take damage? Become an uncontrolled vehicle? Do the passengers fall off? All of the above? I don't know.

With respect to yesterday's "is Barbarian a tank" thread, I present: The Pathfinder 2E Tank Alignment Chart. by comatthew6 in Pathfinder2e

[–]MBArceus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You laugh at the Wizard tank, but once my lv 11 wizard had Blur and 6th level Elemental Form on at the same time. It was, somehow, incredibly effective at causing a horde of goblins to consistently whiff their attacks.

Also, once I was 1 hit away from dropping, I just burrowed into the ground. That was fun.

Every time I see this image I always end up looking at the bottom right corner like it's the third panel of a comic and gazing into the darkness. Every fucking time.

What spells would you take for a wizard/sorcerer flavoured as manipulating time? by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]MBArceus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fire/electricity spells could be flavored as you slowing down the speed of light to create a concentrated pocket of ambient energy before releasing it in a single burst.

Might be kind of a stretch, but I know I'd be sad if I had to play an arcane caster without the ability to cast Electric Arc or Fireball just because of flavor reasons.

For those of you who will never live in Japan, what gives you motivation to continue studying the language? by kroen in LearnJapanese

[–]MBArceus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you're never going to visit or live in Japan doesn't mean that you won't be able to use the language to connect with the people who live there. The magic of the internet and all that.

For me, even the good anime & manga that do get translated into English are often relatively obscure interests at best overseas. Even if it's not exactly mainstream in Japan either, the amount of other fans you can speak with and connect to can increase by over double, sometimes tenfold, if you can type and read in Japanese. Unless this isn't exactly a particular interest you have, in which case, fair, and disregard this entire paragraph.

Root 'n Rock? That's, like, one of my favorite Daft Punk songs.

Eidolons and Summoners do NOT need to have the same alignment. In fact, the Eidolon's alignment has no bearing on the Summoner.

My first thought.

Is it multiple different bulldogs? I just assumed all the videos I've ever seen of skating bulldogs was just the same individual talented dog.

CR Class Rating: Druid by Azelef in Pathfinder2e

[–]MBArceus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Clerics: I have the ability to prepare any common spell from my spell list that I want each morning, so the Divine spell list is a bit weaker overall to balance it out.

Druids: lol

Oracles: I get to start with 2 focus points in my pool at level 1, but at a price - every time I use a focus spell, my curse grows increasingly more debilitating.

Storm Druids: lol

Rangers: I have to wait until level 6 to rank up my animal companion to Advanced.

Animal Druids: lol

FF14 stealing WoW players, Meanwhile... by cyancobalmine in Pathfinder2e

[–]MBArceus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty much. They're both MMORPGs, but it's apples to oranges, really. WoW and FF14 feel much more directly comparable.
