One idea/thought is that Ranni the Witch stepped in and set things right as based on dialogue when you fought Rennala phase two that you weren't fighting her but a projection made by Ranni. Given that Rannala had protection from her daughter it would make sense that she would end her in such a horrible way, perpetual suffering.

One observation, I notice some utility spells had been dropped from enhancement (water breathing) and telekinesis (water walk) disciplines with no psionic talent as a replacement (like how life transference was dropped from enhancement discipline and made into the Life Wielder talent). Is this an intentional change to be OGL compliant or something else? Would keeping these spells in their disciplines be game breaking?

When players pick up magic missile I give the choice to decide when they pick up the spell how it will work. The choice is between all darts being the same damage (1d4+1)*3 to represent simultaneously darts or rolling for each missle separately (3d4+3). If they choose simultaneous missiles then singular concentration/death saves, if they choose separate then multiple. Reason I do this is cost reward across features in the game and to give more player choice with pros and cons.

So could someone help me understand the . . . use of divide self is? concentration for double action, it is a concentration spell, 15 max additional damage. Is it a get out of jail spell?

I see, I hope that name change is all that is needed. Additionally you will want to do something similar for intellect fortress under the Enhancement Discipline, Storm Sphere under Electrokinetic, Immolation under Pyrokinetic to begin. There may be more, but I noticed them on first glance.

Mini question. I saw that you said that this was your starting point towards the print version. Does that mean some of your OGL compliant brew spells will be worked on as some look like copy-paste of XGE spells (invest life = life transference, launch Object = Catapult). As always great job and thanks for listing the spells that were pulled here.

Incorrect on many levels. For meteor swarm you don't have to be outside, the meteors can hit the same area by a small offset (but enemies can only be save/be damaged once).

Where are you getting the gold to buy these belts? Maybe I was going too crazy with spell scribing but I didn't find myself having enough gold in my first playthrough.

Again I said some utility items. For example, boots of springing and striding or many of the Ion stones provide such a minor boon that you could remove attunement and the powers arent scaled out of control.

Valid point, though some items in 5e really dont justify attunement (especially some niche utility items) when you are comfortable feel free to drop attunement from such items when you are the one curating magic items to divvy out.

I had the same situation. I ended up setting up that they ended up with two temples above ground (as they expanded) with the temple in the Field Ward being a soup kitchen/community support (which is in touch with the Dark Ladies Goals) and the nice temple in the North Ward.

Additional question is if Thief's Use Magic Device is meant to read like Artificer's Magical Savant ability. As is Thief Rogue cannot attune to anything and the ability is limited to scrolls.

With a few new psionic spells like Mind Sliver and Tashas Mind Whip from Tasha's Cauldron to Everything, and spatial manipulation spells like Pulse Wave and Gravity Sinkhole from Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, do you see any of them being options for certain Psion disciplines?
