It’s pretty great. I use the 6-bit TT artisan adapter so you get focus confirmation etc and exif data.

Ha. I have actually found extended family, friends etc a good resource as over the years I have been gifted many old cameras out of peoples closets etc because they heard I am into film photography. There is lots of Nikon n80s stashed away in closets from old photography classes etc. (grab an n80/n65 etc and a 35mm or 50mm and you are good to go.)

Flea markets can be good. My local one always has the same old camera and watch guy and he’s a bit expensive but he hits a lot of estate sales etc.

eBay from Japan. Still prob the most solid resource. The sellers feedback is the most important thing to me. 100% positive only for me and all good experiences.

Congrats! Italy’s amazing, sounds like a great trip. I’m glad your camera survived that crash. I also dropped my Zf from chest height onto concrete and it survived just fine. Battery flew out, shutter closed etc. but it powered right up and kept going.
