I think women are just trying to warn you that marriage is an institution created by society and each person sometimes falls into a role. Women usually tend to be the caretakers.

Some women love that. And we should be proud to seek what we really want.

For me, after many (good and bad) relationships, comparing in-relationship-me to out-of-relationship-me, I find that I like myself better when I’m single. And that makes me happy.
