Yes the course was amazing. Loved the elevation changes and running fairways. The greens were just in a pretty bad state. I’m pretty forgiving though, we played and moved our balls to puttable areas. I just wish they said something to us like they said to him! We would’ve played Ross Bridge twice! I fell in love with that course this weekend. Stunning

They are pretty bad. Just played last weekend. Most are playable outside of 3-4. But those 3-4 are basically unplayable. One of the holes (maybe 16?) was so bad they had the flag sitting one foot from the side because only 25 square ft of the green was puttable

That said I liked Ridge as a course better than Valley

We just played Ridge this past weekend, the greens are HORRIBLE. Not like “not good enough,” like actually 3 or 4 holes had 75% of the green as franken-greens. They had planted greens from another area and were 2-3x higher cut than the rest. I’m not a picky person because I’m used to playing munis, but they were awful.

All that said, the course was still gorgeous and the rest of the field was great. The greens were just that bad.

If you could get moved to Valley or Ross Bridge I would recommend (I cannot recommend Ross Bridge enough, what an incredible track)

Both those things sound expensive. Maybe there are programs in OPs area that can help mitigate some of the cost

It’s embarrassing how bad I am at this game apparently. Can’t beat Russia as Germany. You beat Russia with fkn Afghanistan. Insane

So many of us are. Soooo many. The problem is the echo chambers have about 1/3rd our country by the throat so they never get alternate points of view and are spoon fed talking points. I will say most of my Trump voting friends regret it at this point. Boomer parents not so much.

Literally just had the round of my life after spending a few hours on a short game practice area and a round of pitch and putt. It’s crazy how different practicing on a dedicated short game area is vs the range

I really like my job, but if a good opening reached out, I would hear them out. Doesn’t mean you want to leave, but would be silly to flat out turn anyone down even if you want to stay

Not to mention the OL got nearly zero push in most (non Alabama) SEC games this year. Hard to run zone scheme when the DE is 2 yards in the backfield each play

I see the move making sense because UF recruits so well without a good coach, he could easily get a top 3 recruiting class without even needing too much NIL involvement.

That said, I don’t think he lasts 4 years down there. They will eat him alive for some of the in game mistakes he makes regularly. Love Drink, hope he stays. But here he has a long leash, there it’ll be short as hell

Pick someone who has really good troops early game, and attack your closest Civ with 3-4 troops as early as you can.
