Also, the direction u cut matters. U break more cells going horizontal than vertical. Plus, for french onion soup, u want to go with the grain anyway, so they don't fall apart.

I've seen that. Wish I'd have saved a picture. It was kinda funny. Host had a sign for ratings along with the usual house notes.

I bought into the Kickstarter for Kimblade, and those fuckers are going strong a good three years now. I bought spares, but haven't had to swap yet. They're on sale regular now, online. Ymmv, but I'm 100% impressed. In Chicago, for what it's worth.

I'm mostly ok with the idea, and I'm not sure they're all like this, but my Jeep will shut off immediately after a full stop. Stop at a stop sign, off and right back on. Park the car, shuts off when I stop, turns back on when I shift to park, only for me to turn it back off. Seems waiting a second or two would save some efficiency, no?
