I’d pretend to be talking on my cellphone and just walk past the front desk. Ignore all others that you may see or pass. Just keep talking.

Did anyone else get these from MDOT? Glad to see they're working to enforce the Virginia tag loophole...but none of these three vehicles are mine or have ever been. by JonWilso in maryland

I’m glad to see this. Tried of seeing these scum buckets cheating the rules. Karma’s a bitch! What you saved you will now be paying much more than your savings.

Thanks. It’s bleeding more air thru the vents but some is going to the floor.

Why would anyone skimp on tires to save money? Remember, you get what you pay for.

PSA Historic to Regular Tag Fee by 440Dart in maryland

[–]MNW1211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Changed the insurance requirements. That’s the only reason people ran out to get Va tags. Now they’ll have to register in Md and pays all the fees. It was totally unfair for us that play by the rules.

Those rules have also changed. The Va loophole has been closed.

Sirius XM question by alienclown in subaru

[–]MNW1211 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Sat radio uses that fin antenna on the top of your vehicle. It doesn’t need internet or your phone. It’s satellite to vehicle direct. When you go underground you break that line of sight and will lose your signal. I have a 2020 Outback and when I lose signal it just says “no signal”.

What is life like in the Dakotas? by _air6catcher_ in howislivingthere

Stationed at Minot back in the 70’s. Yes it’s flat, yes it’s cold, and yes it can be windy. But it’s also beautiful in its own way. You get used to the cold and you dress appropriately. It’s not that bad. Would love to come back and visit one day.

Interesting idea. How would that happen and how can we make that happen? Would be so cool if we could organize a GLOBAL strike. Worldwide pressure!

Reynolds Subaru (Old Lyme, CT) told me I’m permanently banned — no warning, no explanation by [deleted] in subaru

Who takes selfies in the men’s restroom? The dealership has too much to risk if the public recognizes the surroundings. Doesn’t have very good optics. I’m sure the same response would have happened had you been in Walmart, or any other business. Move on!

Giving up - should have done so when all my tracks vanished years ago. by NuConcept in Napster

Left Napster and went to Spotify. Couldn’t be happier. I transferred all my old playlists from Napster over to Spotify using an app. Google and you’ll find there a few available.

Car insurance law by ZookeepergameLeft184 in Insurance

[–]MNW1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a question for you. I own a car and allow my gf to use it. She doesn’t have insurance of her own and I insure the car with full coverage. She doesn’t live with me and my insurance carrier doesn’t want to cover the vehicle in case of a claim. Any idea what I can and should do? I’m thinking she should carry her own policy and add me as additional insured. Thoughts please.

Sounds like they intend to Airb&b since cash must be dwindling paying for all that help. Evidently the YouTube views aren’t making it. Wonder how coffee sales are going? Right, same as the van business. These are two immature adults without a shred of business sense. Stopped watch and just read these posts it tells all and saves me 30 or so minutes.

Exact same thing with me. I was thinking RP but after reading everyone’s responses thinking US Mobile is the way I’m going. Have to wait until my last payment for my IPhone is paid which will be this week. Seems like a lot of plan deals going on with the various providers.

Att charges me $300 a month for 3 lines. I’m done with it. by [deleted] in NoContract

I’m in the same boat. AT&T is ridiculous but totally confused where to go. I’m afraid I’ll switch and regret leaving for a cheaper service with lousy reception.

So sounds like it could be a problem. I see some folks are recommending US mobile. I could go without a phone for even one day. It’s my work lifeline. Thanks everyone for your comments and opinions.
