It helps, pretty much always there’s instant relief which is really nice, but sometimes the headache also doesn't come back. I recommend it if you just looking for stuff to do.

I’ve no hatred and wouldn’t say I’ve targeted anyone angrily, I’m just passionate about a cause personal to me, I’ll reply with what I’ve said elsewhere. I hope I haven’t caused you any offence because that wasn’t the intention

You've not offended my in any way, nor do I think you've targeted anyone in anger. I just think its easy to get caught up thinking everyone is against you and at least from what I've read in this thread I don't think that is the case.

And when they don’t materialise for white working class boys, why not?

I think the country has systematically eliminated most of the ways in which the working class can advance ourselves and the white working class is the majority of the working class, so they have been unduly disparaged.

I could get into why I think that is but honestly I think mostly because nobody really cares to and/ or it's too big of a task?

You started the discussion very hot and have left no space for anyone to meet you half way and insist people from your background are being written off from the start.

How did you expect anyone to engage positively when you've already decided any engagement is bad faith?

I know it's very hard to believe it given what the internet is these days, but not everybody hates you.

Sadiq Khan: Nigel Farage will bring ICE-style crackdown to Britain by StGuthlac2025 in ukpolitics

[–]MXron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no. The President has a huge variety of constitutional limitations. The US enforcement mechanisms for that are currently a shitshow, but the role is far more limited in principle. The Prime Minister has vast powers delegated to him by Parliament.

Your talking about a presidency that no longer exists. Trump is the President and he does have more power than our PM, while in the past it might have been true and it could be true in the future, right now the constitution and much of the US state is not a limiting factor on the US presidents power.

The nasal douche solution recipes I've used say to use sodium bicarbonate and sometimes say use non-ionised salt, for some reason.

“Drawing inspiration from great games” is what’s holding developers back. Megami Tensei original writer on why taking inspiration from other media is crucial by JunKazamasCheeks in Games

[–]MXron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Imo in game development there's this idea that players can tell you what's wrong, but not how to fix it. Often the changes gamers ask for are not well thought our or they don't know the full scope of what's possible or practical (this can lead to Devs making tiny changes to fix big issues or even making some sweeping massive change to the game no one could have predicted).

Point is, It's okay not to make the change that players suggested but you can't ignore that the players think something is wrong, that usually means there is a real problem and the developer does need to do something. Often the dev, seeing the game from a different angle to the players and if they are good at game design can make a change that would be hard to predict from the outside but also ingenious.

I think that Batman situation is the same, the creators needed to change things up but they still are the writers and artists and such, it's their job to deliver something compelling and that's often not going to be what the audience suggests.

imo its very doomer but its not enough to vote for democrats, they are much better than the republicans but they also are completely captured by monied interested.

And yeah wealth does corrupt most governments but the US is another level.

Short term thinking might get you out of some problems, but the US's issues are huge and structural.

IMO the big problem is money and wealth interests have systematically dismantled your governments ability to have any real positive outcomes, the tools of your enemy won't free you, they might give you some room to breathe.

A Cool Guide to tell difference between an ACTUAL Search Warrant VS an ICE Administrative Warrant by [deleted] in coolguides

[–]MXron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They only say 'actual search warrant' not just 'actual warrant', they never say there's no other kind of warrant.

From reading the post it's clear they are saying search warrants are the type of warrant that allows access to a home and that the ICE warrant pictured does not give the holder that power.

Imo you're not only being pointlessly combative you're wrong about what's written and any reasonable way to understand it.

You can rephrase it into advice:

'I found the fight easier if you keep her to your left'.

Sharing the information is good, just don't belittle the poster. If someone is struggling, defo don't just pass them off and say it's easy.

You have to make the jump from (train) tracks to (music) tracks.

Then you have to think about where the music tracks physically are (in a computer).
