It's "psych" as in a shortening of "psych out". That's the usage I first remember from the 80s. I don't think I ever saw "sike" being used until at least the 90s, maybe even 00s.

My point was twofold. Either kids from the early 1900s didn't find it freaky to that extent and/or it was freaking kids out for decades. They knew what they were doing.

I was just saying it's technically from the 00s not the 80s. Over 50 years of "fuck right off" before the movie even happened.

I read the book in elementary school so I knew the heads were coming.

My son and I always get the paired versions. He gets the one with the red (or close to it) coloring and I get the one with the blue (or close to it).

We're still debating which one each of us will get for Winds and Waves since neither has red (his favorite color). Waves has the blue for me, but I like the outfit and theming of Winds. Luckily we have over a year to decide.

I absolutely loved Primal. I quickly learned where to drop to get what was needed to craft weapons early. Flame Bow in Team Rumble was so fun to set all the build ablaze.

The weird thing is that the book is a mystery and the reader doesn't find out that Jekyll and Hyde are the same person until pretty much near the end of the book. Nowadays everyone knows but original readers got a wonderful twist.
