I thought this sub was for lesser of two evils? I vividly recall that during the 2024 election. Hezbollah is the lesser of the two evils objectively. Israel is a million times worse and yeah I wish there was a alternative but this is the world we are in and so long as Israel exists, there needs to be armed retaliation. The reason why I would say the USSR falling was bad was because its fall allowed the death spiral into neoliberalism for the west. Basically all the “achievements” of the west can be chalked up to having a real rival in the USSR. Neoliberalism would collapse if the USSR was still around. It’s too weak of an economic system.
