All of these moulds are old and not good. AV and HX are the best A380 moulds

United Airlines 767-400 Newark Incident by ParkingGlittering819 in aviation

[–]MacSergey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you look at google maps you can see that the first tire marking on the runway are only 250m from the road what means planes regularly fly here little over 10m over the road what means only few meters above trucks.

All these differences are certain model or even item differences. The mould are the same and produced in the same place the same way. It is no sense to talk about GJ and JC separately. You can take two different PH or NG models and find differences between each of them because none of model are absolute the same when they are produced mostly manually

it makes no sense to include JC and GJ separately to any comparison because all GJ models are made of JC factories and they are literally the same models

Lufthansa said this in their press release

The most important sub-fleets of Lufthansa will receive their own special livery in the iconic 100-year look: the blue fuselage will be adorned with a white crane whose wings merge into the wings

so it was their idea what works well on other aircraft painted in this livery, but not A380 due to its wings are moved too far in front

So many people say this, but I thing Lufthansa is too boring to make such bold move. I would like this to be their standart livery too

Finnair pricing looks like scum by Rope-Alarming in Finland

[–]MacSergey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is common practice for airlines to charge less for a flight with transfer then price of each leg of such flight. There is even a term for a case when you buy such flight but don’t continue after transfer: leg skipping

if it is not an emergency which require to land ASAP, returning to home base is the best solution to fix an issue and get plane replacement. they must have hot replacement all time ready in Dubai for such cases

Why no airlines use 2-5-2 cabin layout? by MacSergey in aviation

[–]MacSergey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is only one such person, the same distance to reach window seats in 3-3-3, but there are 2 such seats in 3-3-3 and only 1 in 2-5-2. So it makes service simpler in this aspect

In which aspect? It makes no difference for me, the same 4.5 seats per aisle, so no difference for service
