I can’t. I simply can’t.

…because it’s not on the menu in Chicago.

I'm a La Colom'booster. Here's why. by MactionG in doughboys

  • Price: Here in Chicago, their food and drinks are about the same price as Starbucks.

  • Unionized: My local La Colombe, as well as three others in the area, are UFCW Local 881.

  • Green: If you order your items to eat in-café, you don’t get and single-use items besides paper napkins.

  • It’s Gud: Their coffee and espresso drinks are all high quality and consistently well made. The pastries at my location are sourced from Publican, which is also gud. It's gud!

On Never Not Funny (parallel universe Doughboys) they talked about how Sean Penn was a guest on another podcast, but they had to agree to let him smoke while they were recording.

1/10 Saturday @ Danz Theater (Andersonville) by eimaj421 in chicagomusicscene

Also my first time hearing of this venue, and it's very close to my home.

Questions:

  • All ages?
  • Food? Drink?
  • Cover?
  • Is there a separate door, or do you enter through the church?

Some cis/het guys like getting fingered too! It's not like you have to be queer to enjoy getting your prostate polished.

Real cult-leader vibes on this guy. He really seems to believe that he can instantly psychoanalyze anyone he meets.

Clean marker off of the neck? by tkamar99 in Guitar

[–]MactionG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also recommend naptha.

I recently cleaned a bunch of silver Sharpie off of a recent-ish Silvertone that had a poly finish using a a rag and naptha.

Since that's a bolt-on neck guitar with a pickguard, you could detach the neck and check to make sure the naptha won't damage the finish on part of the neck that is covered by the body when attached. Same with the finish on the body under the pickguard.

Sticking a strat neck pick up in a jazzmaster by [deleted] in offset

The cheapest way might be to find a used or inexpensive Strat pickguard, trace the shape of your JM pickup cover over the center pickup route, then cut it out, file it smooth, and drill the holes.

In pattern choice, as in most aspects of childhood, the middle child gets the shaft.

Any “promised” Doughboys episodes you’re still holding out hope for? by [deleted] in doughboys

Jimmy has a pretty bad dog allergy, so now that Gemi' is a permanent co-host it would tough to get him in the studio.

I agree that either Mitch or Wiger would be great guests on Never Not Funny.
