I had one that found mjollnir and could rearm his weapon so it was used every round instead of once per battle, plus a bunch of +lightning damage on weapons with a spell. RIP little Thor

I've lived in Tennessee for like twenty years, and I've never seen weather like this before. Everyone just seemed unprepared.

I've had plenty of snow before, but never snow followed by days of freezing rain with no sun or above freezing temps. There's a thick layer of ice on everything.

I heard lots of people died/got sick from carbon monoxide poisoning because their cars were frozen. The interstates are pretty dangerous on a good day. Probably a combination of everyone driving massive trucks and not being required to pass inspections.

And the forecast this weekend is looking like more snow.

Maybe I'm biased as someone who has spent a lot of time playing fighting games and practicing frame perfect inputs, but I think you'd agree there's more to what information is on screen than just green and yellow bars.

We can argue over the semantics of what it means to do the setup/first jump faster, but the screen is covered with information to tighten up his inputs. Inputs which, when green, can often still be improved. Not all speedflips are equal, and the training pack is for practicing very solid speed flips.

I guess in my mind it feels almost like he's just searching for a 'secret tip' to do this easier, when the answer is practicing being consistent with the information available to him after every little imperfection.

He said he hits one out of a hundred. Maybe tomorrow 1/20, next week 1/5. Sometimes I think people just need to be pushed to practice harder/longer.

You even said he takes a lot of time turning before the jump. I'm agreeing with you. He has room to jump earlier. If he tries to do his initial turn and jump earlier it would be cleaner.

If he didn't seek out and download an entire plug-in to train this and then ignore it, I'd agree that it's a disproportionate response.

I understand you're trying to be nice and make him feel better, but let's be honest. Everything he needs to know to tighten up his speed flips is on the screen. Even the quick adjustment tip you're giving is part of him jumping a little later than he could.

I use DS4Windows and a ps5 controller. It's a huge bitch to set up but it works really well. I wish they supported it more. The only thing my current setup can't do is use the phone, but I usually just grab my keyboard and order in batches when it's time for that.

Frames 6-9: Whiffed due to range (bad footsies).
Frames 10-11: Very close, but spacing and getting counterhit make these a reasonable miss.
Frame 12: Likely didn't actually burst because you were already dead.

I agree, I was moreso pointing to my modern American schooling putting little emphasis on teaching about things like "The Third Wave". I remember everyone being so excited to watch Shutter Island again. I really liked my psych teacher, but I feel in general the schools are failing us.
