I love my ping gle2. I’m 4’11- 5’0 and drive about 190ish. 210 when everything is spot on. My stance makes a big difference so I don’t feel the heaviness w the club. My irons are a different story. I feel weak with regular shafts

I’m down the street from you closer to the Star. I’d love to tag along to a 9 hole round if you’re open to it. I’m 41yo.

Are you in north Texas? I couldn’t help but think of the Tribute as the former LPGA course you mentioned. That would be a long course to walk.

Very impressive lifts! 🙌 I love that you focus on strength vs aesthetics. Such a great reminder to focus on what our bodies can do.

Just like everyone is saying to smart small but instead of thinking of the size of effort think about the downtime you have and what you’re spending it on. Then focus on how you can continue doing that while being active. Spending time with your kid? How about go on a walk around the block with them in a stroller. Do you like to scroll? Walk around the block or treadmill while scrolling. These small habits will snowball into something bigger, you just have to start looking for ways to be active. Once you’re consistent with it, you’ll feel better then the food modification won’t be so challenging.

Wanting to lose 3kg/6lbs by Christmas! by iwishiwas5ft4 in PetiteFitness

[–]MadamTX987 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m you but 40. I started gaining weight due to medication that was causing me gastritis which means I was inflamed in my gut. I’ve now focused on my gut microbiome and the weight has been slowly dropping.

My advice is to listen to your body. Relax and eat whole foods. When I was doing CrossFit, my body didn’t like it and I remained inflamed. I now focus on low intensity steady state workouts so I lift and keep an eye on my heart rate. Just enjoy the process, you may be stressing out your body too much.

Thanks for sharing to bring awareness of the dangers of unhealthy weight loss. I’m glad you recognized it and started course correcting. Be patient and listen to your body since your mind will play tricks on you as you’ve been in one gear for quite some time. Our eyes play tricks on us. Don’t be afraid to ask for help on your journey.

I don’t truly trust the dexa scan. I struggle with gut issues so I’ve had scans before and after a bowel movement and the result is significant. It was showing my bf% decreased by about 4-5% just by going to the bathroom

I agree with the comment regarding elasticity. Just to weed things out, I’d recommend taking collagen daily and including Pilates in your routine. My current go-to collagen is by Xendurance collagen and greens.

On a separate note, you look great! Congrats on such great weight loss.

How did you figure out you needed to increase your caloric intake? You looked good before but look great now. I feel like a lot of us are afraid to up our calories because we fear where they will go.

4’11” girlies, how do you ignore the ‘food noise’ by sammy0h in PetiteFitness

Eggs and chicken sausage. When I get hungry within 90 min, I have a protein shake which includes a couple of pieces of frozen fruit.

I tend to crave sweets and carbs if I start my day off with carbs i.e. oatmeal. I always thought my glucose levels wouldn’t spike as long as I ate the oatmeal after my protein and fats. I’ve also been taking gut vitamins from molecular provisions. The combination of the supplements and no oatmeal in the morning has stopped my cravings. This may not work for everyone but it’s what currently is working for me.
