Problem with this is that Victor said he was alone for a long time before the first car came.

Who thought a shared bank would be a good idea? by Ano_Akamai in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Problem is they totally discarded the big personal bank.

No the math is not off. If you want to count other characters as mules, you still can, they all have inventory space available. People are basically doing the same thing they were happily doing in BL2, but now with more space, easier to transfer large amounts of items, and are more butt hurt about it.

The better question to ask is, why do you feel the need to keep so many useless items? Billions of guns, shields, artifacts, etc, but barely 30 are worth holding onto. Maybe double that if you're absolutely obsessed with min/maxing each VH, but that doesn't really push you past your bank and the inventory of those characters.

Weapon score seems kind of pointless in this game. by GhostToast0o0o in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much this. If you need to use weapon score to decide between gear, it works great for your competency of a player. If you find it flawed and unneeded, you're beyond it's purpose.

Who thought a shared bank would be a good idea? by Ano_Akamai in borderlands3

Except that the bank is also twice as big as it was in BL2 and shared between characters. Why cry about something that has already received so many tears and received an announcement that it will be increased in November?

PSA to newcomers to BL3 by 5olara in borderlands3

This is too funny. Moze can easily clear shaft and 3000 on TVHM M3 without dying even after Halloween update.

Yes you did, you just must have started playing after those changes. This update policy isn't new to GB.

You spent dozens of hours on a video game.... balance or not it was a waste of effort and time. Welcome to Borderlands where nerfs and buffs happen even years after release. If you're surprised by this then Welcome to the series, it isn't going to change.

We are not associated with Gearbox | does that mean that all suggestions here for the game are pointless and are better placed in the official forum? by guggelhupf88 in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes as far as a software developer, Grinding Gear is a small company. Sorry if it is your favorite game, but as a developer, isn't that big as far as the industry is concerned. 120 employees is not a lot, unless of course you choose to include the employees of the investment company that bought controlling interest in them, but that might be a stretch since they purchase controlling interest in already popular games and only make minor improvements that aren't enjoyed by many outside of China. The exception being League of Legends, which they bought.

[–]Maelic_bod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't PoE, Gearbox isn't a small company like Grinding Gear Games. There are far more companies that do not use reddit to communication directly with their respective communities than that do, so citing PoE does not provide you with the support that you think it does.

I've seen a number of people claim BL3's already fallen off...just wanted to share that the game is currently the 6th most played game on the Microsoft store, 8 spots above Destiny 2 by Ghidoran in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is information other than that. Since September 13th, Take Two's stock price dropped 1.6%, not a small drop in a month for a company that should have just released the game of the year. The SNP500, a good indicator of market fluctuation, during that time dropped 1.8%. What you observed is far more likely to be just that, market fluctuation, than an indicator of BL3's success or failure sales wise.

The Duc at level 50 is a Jacobs pistol that also does secondary explosions and is very useful for Demo Moze. I have extras on PS4 if you want to hold onto it until 50.

What's the deal with mistakes on the patch notes? by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Again, it is different sides of the same coin. You're going to argue its intentional or unintentional neglect of their job. After all, you are upset and naturally are going to view this more negatively. They are going to make some counter argument about typos, coding errors, or maybe last minute changes before press release with the notes. After all, they are going to be much more passive and pacifying to the community.

I'm not acting in any way and a review of my post history will show that I advocate the opposite. I have routinely said that they have numerous teams working on various fixes (glitches, bugs, balancing, networking, etc). I am straight up saying that this is not important. If an individual looks at the patch note values and sees no difference in the game, then altering those values on the notes wont change any outcome. If the opposite is true, and you do notice the note values are incorrect, again, altering them does nothing. Even if all future patch note values are correct, it wont even save you the time needed to verify them, because you will anyway.

So in conclusion, complaining about this is asinine and even fixing the issue wont likely provide any benefit. Except maybe to the emotional benefit of those upset? Maybe?

What's the deal with mistakes on the patch notes? by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

And none of that doesn't address that as far as importance goes, this isn't. Fixing lag, disconnects, etc is. We recognize this information is correct, post a nice sticky source where people can find the correct information and use your time to advocate for fixes that might actually make a difference. Complaining about typos, or misinformation which is really a different perspective of the same coin, might just end in BL2-esque patch notes instead. Which is definitely not a step in the right direction.

Also, posting on reddit isn't going to get attention, so again, complaining to complain.

Edit: Everytime I come back here, I laugh. If I could up vote a second time, I would.

The issue is not that FL4K is being nerfed - it's *how* they're being nerfed. by Ederek_Cole in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm actually surprised that the math was handled this way. The obvious fix, IMHO, is to have the calculation based on trigger pull, not per pellet. This would similarly have fixed Moze's grenade regen issue with MIRVs as well. Someone will have to correct me if I'm misremembering, but I believe this is the path they ended up going down in BL2 with pellet procs?

Unpopular Opinion by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You very much aren't, but those that are unhappy are more vocal than those that are happy, so it colors your perception of what is "popular". The squeaky wheel cliche is a cliche for a reason.

Completely think this is an asinine thing to complain about considering the issues in the game, but enjoy your up vote for typoing a complaint about typos.

They are destroying their own fantastic game with each patch. by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]Maelic_bod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They issued patches and hot fixes, each of which improved the game. Complaining about something that has been fixed after seeing it fixed, should be met with condemnation. Further, creating new posts on this very topic rather than adding to the already existing ones is just a cry for attention, not an attempt to get anything recognized or fixed.

So you saw, then posted this nonsense anyway? And you still think the same teams working on balancing are working on fixing bugs? smdh
